The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2129
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when Sayyidina Ma'iz bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) presented himself before the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to confess his sin, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked him, "Perhaps you kissed her? Or you only touched her?" He said, "No." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Did you have sexual intercourse with her?" He said, "Yes!" Then, upon the order of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he was stoned to death.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ جب سیدنا ماعز بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں اعتراف جرم کے لئے حاضر ہوئے تو نبی ﷺ نے ان سے فرمایا: ”شاید تم نے اسے بوسہ دیا ہوگا؟ یا تم نے اسے صرف چھوا ہوگا؟“ انہوں نے کہا کہ نہیں، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”کیا تم نے اس سے جماع کیا ہے؟“ انہوں نے کہا: جی ہاں! تب نبی ﷺ کے حکم پر انہیں سنگسار کر دیا گیا۔
Sayyidaana Ibn Abbas Raziallahu Anhuma se marvi hai ki jab Sayyidaana Maaz bin Maalik Raziallahu Anhu Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein eitraaf jurm ke liye hazir hue to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne un se farmaya: ”Shayad tum ne usey bosa diya hoga? Ya tum ne usey sirf chhua hoga?“ Unhon ne kaha ki nahin, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ”Kya tum ne us se jimaa kiya hai?“ Unhon ne kaha: Ji haan! Tab Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke hukm par unhen sangsar kar diya gaya.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ حَكِيمٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِمَاعِزِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، حِينَ أَتَاهُ، فَأَقَرَّ عِنْدَهُ بِالزِّنَا، قال:" لَعَلَّكَ قَبَّلْتَ أَوْ لَمَسْتَ؟" , قَالَ: لَا , قَالَ:" فَنِكْتَهَا؟" , قَالَ: نَعَمْ , فَأَمَرَ بِهِ فَرُجِمَ.
