The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2132
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar and Sayyidina Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, while he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was on the pulpit: “People should stop abandoning Jumu'ah (Friday prayer), otherwise Allah Almighty will seal their hearts and include them among the heedless.”

سیدنا ابن عمر و سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہم سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا جبکہ آپ ﷺ منبر پر تشریف فرما تھے: ”لوگ جمعہ چھوڑنے سے باز آجائیں، ورنہ اللہ تعالیٰ ان کے دلوں پر مہر لگا دے گا اور انہیں غافلوں میں لکھ دے گا۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar o Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya jabke aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mimbar par tashrif farma the: "Log Jumma chhorne se baz aa jaen, warna Allah Ta'ala unke dilon par mohar laga dega aur unhen gafilon mein likh dega."
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَّامٍ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ مِينَاءَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنَّهُمَا شَهِدَا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ وَهُوَ عَلَى أَعْوَادِ الْمِنْبَرِ:" لَيَنْتَهِيَنَّ أَقْوَامٌ عَنْ وَدْعِهِمْ الْجُمُعَاتِ، أَوْ لَيَخْتِمَنَّ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ، وَلَيُكْتَبَنَّ مِنَ الْغَافِلِينَ".
