Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 21364
It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying that fasting in the month of patience (Ramadan) and three days of every month is like fasting always, and it removes malice from the heart. I asked what is meant by the malice of the heart? He replied, satanic filth.

حضرت ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ ماہ صبر (رمضان) اور ہر مہینے کے تین روزے رکھنا ایسے ہی ہے جیسے ہمیشہ روزے رکھنا اور اس سے سینے کا کینہ دور ہوجاتا ہے میں نے پوچھا کہ سینے کے کینے سے کیا مراد ہے؟ فرمایا شیطانی گندگی۔
Hazrat Abuzar RA se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem SAW ko ye farmate hue suna hai keh mah Sabr (Ramzan) aur har mahinay ke teen rozey rakhna aise hi hai jaise hamesha rozey rakhna aur is se seene ka keena door hojata hai mein ne poocha keh seene ke keene se kya murad hai? Farmaya shetani gandagi.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ الْأَزْرَقِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ، قَالَ: كُنَّا عِنْدَ بَابِ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، وَفِينَا أَبُو ذَرٍّ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: " صَوْمُ شَهْرِ الصَّبْرِ وَثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ صَوْمُ الدَّهْرِ، وَيُذْهِبُ مَغَلَةَ الصَّدْرِ" قَالَ: قُلْتُ: وَمَا مَغَلَةُ الصَّدْرِ؟ قَالَ:" رِجْسُ الشَّيْطَانِ" .
