Hadith of Abu Dhar Al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him)
حَدِيثُ أَبِي ذَرٍّ الْغِفَارِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ
Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 21481
It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: There will be three types of people with whom Allah Almighty will not speak on the Day of Judgment, nor will He look at them, nor will He purify them, and for them will be a painful punishment. I said: O Messenger of Allah! Who are these people? They are indeed the ones who have suffered loss and are ruined. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) repeated his words three times and said: The one who lets his lower garment hang below his ankles, the one who sells his goods by making a false oath, and the one who denies a favor.

حضرت ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا تین قسم کے آدمی ایسے ہوں گے جن سے اللہ تعالیٰ قیامت کے دن بات کرے گا نہ انہیں دیکھے اور ان کا تزکیہ کرے گا اور ان کے لئے درد ناک عذاب ہوگا میں نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! یہ کون لوگ ہیں؟ یہ تو نقصان اور خسارے میں پڑگئے نبی کریم ﷺ نے اپنی بات تین مرتبہ دہرا کر فرمایا تہبند کو ٹخنوں سے نیچے لٹکانے والا جھوٹی قسم کھا کر اپنا سامان فروخت کرنے والا اور احسان جتانے والا۔
Hazrat Abuzar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya teen qisam ke aadmi aise honge jin se Allah Ta'ala qayamat ke din baat karega na unhen dekhega aur unka tazkiya karega aur unke liye dardnak azab hoga main ne arz kiya Ya Rasulullah yeh kaun log hain yeh to nuqsan aur khasare mein par gaye Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apni baat teen martaba dohray kar farmaya tehband ko takhnon se neeche latkane wala jhooti qasam kha kar apna saman farokht karne wala aur ehsaan jatane wala.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ مُسْهِرٍ ، عَنْ خَرَشَةَ بْنِ الْحُرِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " ثَلَاثَةٌ لَا يُكَلِّمُهُمْ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَلَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَا يُزَكِّيهِمْ، وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ الْمَنَّانُ بِمَا أَعْطَى، وَالْمُسْبِلُ إِزَارَهُ، وَالْمُنَفِّقُ سِلْعَتَهُ بِالْحَلِفِ الْكَاذِبِ" .
