The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2155
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would apply cupping, he would have it done on the veins of the sides of his neck. Once, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) called a slave belonging to Banu Bayadah, and he performed cupping on him. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave him one and a half sa's of wheat as a fee and spoke to his masters about him. So, they reduced his manumission price by half a sa', otherwise, it was two full sa's before.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ جب بھی سینگی لگواتے تو گردن کی دونوں جانب پہلوؤں کی رگوں میں لگواتے، ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے بنو بیاضہ کے ایک غلام کو بلایا، اس نے سینگی لگائی، نبی ﷺ نے اسے ڈیڑھ مد گندم بطور اجرت کے عطاء فرمائی، اور اس کے آقاؤں سے اس سلسلے میں بات کی چنانچہ انہوں نے اس سے نصف مد کم کر دیا، ورنہ پہلے اس پر پورے دو مد تھے۔
Saina Ibne Abbas Raziallahu Anhuma se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab bhi singi lagwate to gardan ki donon janib pehluon ki ragon mein lagwate, ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Banu Bayazah ke ek gulaam ko bulaya, usne singi lagai, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne use ded mud gandum bataur ujrat ke ata farmaee, aur uske aaqaon se us silsile mein baat ki chunancha unhon ne us se nisf mud kam kar diya, warna pehle us par pure do mud thay.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" كَانَ إِذَا احْتَجَمَ , احْتَجَمَ فِي الْأَخْدَعَيْنِ" , قَالَ: فَدَعَا غُلَامًا لِبَنِي بَيَاضَةَ فَحَجَمَهُ، وَأَعْطَى الْحَجَّامَ أَجْرَهُ مُدًّا وَنِصْفًا، قَالَ: وَكَلَّمَ مَوَالِيَهُ، فَحَطُّوا عَنْهُ نِصْفَ مُدٍّ، وَكَانَ عَلَيْهِ مُدَّانِ.
