The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2196
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) spent the night at the house of Umm al-Mu'minin Sayyida Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her). When it was the night time, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) woke up and stood up to offer prayer. Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said, "I also stood up and did as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did, and I went and stood on his left side. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) took my hand and made me stand on his right side. Then, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offered prayer and then lay down and slept until he began to snore. When the Mu'adhdhin came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood up and offered two short Rak'ahs and then went out and led the Fajr prayer, and he did not perform a fresh ablution."

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے ام المومنین سیدہ میمونہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے یہاں رات گزاری، رات کا وقت ہوا تو نبی ﷺ بیدار ہو کر نماز پڑھنے کے لئے کھڑے ہو گئے۔ سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے بھی کھڑے ہو کر اسی طرح کیا جیسے نبی ﷺ نے کیا تھا اور جا کر آپ ﷺ کی بائیں جانب کھڑا ہو گیا، نبی ﷺ نے میرا ہاتھ پکڑ کر مجھے اپنی دائیں جانب کر لیا، پھر آپ ﷺ نے نماز پڑھی اور پھر لیٹ کر سو گئے حتی کہ خر اٹے لینے لگے، یہاں تک کہ جب مؤذن نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا تو نبی ﷺ نے کھڑے ہو کر دو رکعتیں ہلکی سی پڑھیں، اور باہر تشریف لا کر فجر کی نماز پڑھائی اور تازہ وضو نہیں کیا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Ummul Momineen Sayyida Maymoonah ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ke yahan raat guzaari, raat ka waqt hua to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) bedaar hokar namaz parhne ke liye kharay ho gaye. Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a kehte hain ki maine bhi kharay hokar isi tarah kiya jaise Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne kiya tha aur ja kar aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki bayen janib khada ho gaya, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mera hath pakar kar mujhe apni dayen janib kar liya, phir aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne namaz parhi aur phir lait kar so gaye hatta ki kharratay lenay lagay, yahan tak ki jab Moazzin Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hua to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne kharay hokar do rak'aten halki si parhin, aur bahar tashrif la kar fajr ki namaz parhai aur taza wazu nahi kiya.
حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، وَحَسَنٌ , قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ كُرَيْبِ بْنِ أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" كَانَ فِي بَيْتِ مَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ، فَقَامَ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ، قَالَ: فَقُمْتُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ، فَأَخَذَ بِيَدِي فَأَقَامَنِي عَنْ يَمِينِهِ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى، ثُمَّ نَامَ حَتَّى نَفَخَ، ثُمَّ جَاءَهُ بِلَالٌ بِالْأَذَانِ، فَقَامَ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ"، قَالَ حَسَنٌ: يَعْنِي فِي حَدِيثِهِ: كُنْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فِي بَيْتِ مَيْمُونَةَ، فَلَمَّا قَضَى صَلَاتَهُ نَامَ حَتَّى نَفَخَ.
