The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2203
Narrated by Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), once Gabriel (peace be upon him) said to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "I wish you had seen me when I was stuffing the black mud of the sea into the mouth of Pharaoh."

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ حضرت جبرئیل علیہ السلام نے نبی ﷺ سے عرض کیا: کاش! آپ نے مجھے اس وقت دیکھا ہوتا جب میں سمندر کی کالی مٹی لے کر فرعون کے منہ میں بھر رہا تھا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba Hazrat Jibrail Alaihissalam ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se arz kiya: Kash! Aap ne mujhe us waqt dekha hota jab mein samundar ki kali mitti le kar Firaun ke munh mein bhar raha tha.
حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنَّ جِبْرِيلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام، قَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" لَوْ رَأَيْتَنِي وَأَنَا آخُذُ مِنْ حَالِ الْبَحْرِ، فَأَدُسُّهُ فِي فِي فِرْعَوْنَ".
