Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 22040
It is narrated on the authority of Muadh (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I was riding behind the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on a red donkey. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) called my name and said, "O Muadh!" I said, "At your service, O Messenger of Allah!" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Do you know what is the right of Allah upon His servants?" I said that Allah and His Messenger know best. This question and answer were repeated three times, then the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "(The right of Allah upon His servants is that) they should worship only Him and not associate anything with Him." Then the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Do you know what is the right of the servants upon Allah, if they do so?" I said that Allah and His Messenger know best. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "That right is that Allah will admit them to Paradise."

حضرت معاذ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں سرخ گدھے پر نبی کریم ﷺ کا ردیف تھا نبی کریم ﷺ نے میرا نام لے کر فرمایا اے معاذ! میں نے عرض کیا لبیک یا رسول اللہ! نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا کیا تم جانتے ہو کہ بندوں پر اللہ کا کیا حق ہے؟ میں نے عرض کیا کہ اللہ اور اس کے رسول ہی بہتر جانتے ہیں، تین مرتبہ یہ سوال جواب ہوئے پھر نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا (بندوں پر اللہ کا حق یہ ہے کہ) تم اسی کی عبادت کرو اور اس کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ ٹھہراؤ پھر نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا کیا تم جانتے ہو کہ اللہ پر بندوں کا کیا حق ہے؟ اگر وہ ایسا کرلیں تو؟ میں نے عرض کیا کہ اللہ اور اس کے رسول ہی بہتر جانتے ہیں نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا وہ حق یہ ہے کہ اللہ انہیں جنت میں داخل فرما دے۔
Hazrat Muaz (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba mein surkh gadhe par Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka radif tha. Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mera naam lekar farmaya, "Aye Muaz!" Mein ne arz kiya, "Labbaik ya Rasulullah!" Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya, "Kya tum jante ho ki bandon par Allah ka kya haq hai?" Mein ne arz kiya ki Allah aur uske rasool hi behtar jante hain. Teen martaba ye sawal jawab hue phir Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya, "(Bandon par Allah ka haq ye hai ki) tum usi ki ibadat karo aur uske saath kisi ko sharik na thahrao." Phir Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya, "Kya tum jante ho ki Allah par bandon ka kya haq hai agar wo aisa kar lein to?" Mein ne arz kiya ki Allah aur uske rasool hi behtar jante hain. Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya, "Wo haq ye hai ki Allah unhen Jannat mein dakhil farma de."
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ , وَحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى , قَالَا: حدثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ , عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ , قَالَ حَسَنٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ: أَخبرنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ , عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ , قَالَ الْحَسَنُ: الْهُذَلِيِّ , عَنْ رَوْحِ بْنِ عَابِدٍ , عَنْ أَبِي الْعَوَّامِ , عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ , قَالَ: كُنْتُ رِدْفَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى جَمَلٍ أَحْمَرَ , فَقَالَ:" يَا مُعَاذُ" , قُلْتُ: لَبَّيْكَ , قَالَ: " هَلْ تَدْرِي مَا حَقُّ اللَّهِ عَلَى الْعِبَادِ؟" , قَالَ: فَقُلْتُ: اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ , قَالَهَا ثَلَاثًا , فَقُلْتُ ذَلِكَ ثَلَاثًا , ثُمَّ قَالَ:" حَقُّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ , أَنْ يَعْبُدُوهُ وَلَا يُشْرِكُوا بِهِ شَيْئًا" , ثُمَّ قَالَ:" هَلْ تَدْرِي مَا حَقُّ الْعِبَادِ عَلَى اللَّهِ إِذَا فَعَلُوا ذَلِكَ؟" , فَقُلْتُ: اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ , قَالَهَا ثَلَاثًا , وَقُلْتُ ذَلِكَ ثَلَاثًا , فَقَالَ:" حَقُّهُمْ عَلَيْهِ إِذَا هُمْ فَعَلُوا ذَلِكَ؟ أَنْ يَغْفِرَ لَهُمْ وَأَنْ يُدْخِلَهُمْ الْجَنَّةَ" ..
