The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2229
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) set free all the slaves of the polytheists who came to him on the day of the Battle of Ta'if.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے غزوہ طائف کے دن مشرکوں کے ان تمام غلاموں کو آزاد کر دیا، جو نبی ﷺ کے پاس آگئے تھے۔

حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ بَابٍ ، عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلََمَ" أَعْتَقَ يَوْمَ الطَّائِفِ مَنْ خَرَجَ إِلَيْهِ مَنْ الْعَبِيدِ".
