The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2242
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the revelation was revealed to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) at the age of forty. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stayed in Makkah al-Mukarramah for thirteen years, ten years in Madinah al-Munawwarah, and passed away at the age of sixty-three.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ پر نزول وحی کا سلسلہ چالیس برس کی عمر میں شروع ہوا، تیرہ سال آپ ﷺ مکہ مکرمہ میں رہے، دس سال مدینہ منورہ میں اور ترسٹھ (63) برس کی عمر میں آپ کا وصال ہو گیا۔
Sayyida Ibn Abbas Radi Allaho Anhuma se marvi hai ke Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam par nuzool wahi ka silsila chalis baras ki umar mein shuru hua, terah saal Aap Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam Makkah Mukarramah mein rahe, das saal Madina Munawwarah mein aur tirsath (63) baras ki umar mein Aap ka wisal ho gaya.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ:" أُنْزِلَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَرْبَعِينَ، وَكَانَ بِمَكَّةَ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ، وَبِالْمَدِينَةِ عَشْرًا، فَمَاتَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَلَاثٍ وَسِتِّينَ".
