The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2245
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I spent the night at my aunt Sayyida Maimoona's (may Allah be pleased with her) house. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) woke up during the night, performed ablution and stood up (for prayer). I did the same and came and stood on the left side of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) turned me around and made me stand on his right side.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے اپنی خالہ سیدہ میمونہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے پاس رات گذاری، نبی ﷺ رات کے کسی حصے میں بیدار ہوئے، وضو کر کے کھڑے ہو گئے، میں نے بھی اسی طرح کیا اور آکر نبی ﷺ کی بائیں جانب کھڑا ہو گیا، نبی ﷺ نے مجھے گھما کر اپنی دائیں طرف کر لیا۔
Saina Ibne Abbas Razi Allaho Anhoma se marvi hai ke aik martaba maine apni khala Syeda Maimoona Razi Allaho Anha ke pass raat guzari, Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam raat ke kisi hisse mein bedar hue, wazoo kar ke khade ho gaye, maine bhi isi tarah kiya aur aakar Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ki bayen janib khara ho gaya, Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne mujhe ghoma kar apni dayen taraf kar liya.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ : أَنَّهُ أَتَى خَالَتَهُ مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ:" فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ إِلَى سِقَايَةٍ، فَتَوَضَّأَ ثُمَّ قَامَ، فَصَلَّى، قَالَ: وَقُمْتُ فَتَوَضَّأْتُ، ثُمَّ قُمْتُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ، قَالَ: فَأَخَذَ بِيَدِي، فَأَدَارَنِي مِنْ خَلْفِهِ، حَتَّى أَقَامَنِي عَنْ يَمِينِهِ".
