The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2246
Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I have memorized all the Sunnahs of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) but I do not know whether the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recited in Zuhr and Asr or not? And I do not know how the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to recite this word: «وَقَدْ بَلَغْتُ مِنْ الْكِبَرِ عُتِيًّا» (with a pesh on the 'ayn and a taa) or «أَوْ عُسُيًّا» (with a pesh on the 'ayn and a seen)?".

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کی تمام سنتوں کو محفوظ کر لیا ہے لیکن مجھے یہ معلوم نہیں ہے کہ نبی ﷺ ظہر اور عصر میں قراءت فرماتے تھے یا نہیں؟ اور مجھے یہ بھی معلوم نہیں کہ نبی ﷺ اس لفظ کو کس طرح پڑھتے تھے «وَقَدْ بَلَغْتُ مِنْ الْكِبَرِ عُتِيًّا» (عین کے پیش اور تاء کے ساتھ) «أَوْ عُسُيًّا» (عین کے پیش اور سین کے ساتھ)؟
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a farmate hain keh maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki tamam sunton ko mehfooz kar liya hai lakin mujhe ye maloom nahi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Zuhr aur Asr mein qirat farmate thy ya nahi aur mujhe ye bhi maloom nahi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) is lafz ko kis tarah parhte thy «Waqad Balagtu Minal Kibari Utiyya» (Ain ke pesh aur Tay ke sath) «Ao Usiyya» (Ain ke pesh aur Seen ke sath)?
(حديث موقوف) حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا حُصَيْنٌ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ:" قَدْ حَفِظْتُ السُّنَّةَ كُلَّهَا، غَيْرَ أَنِّي لَا أَدْرِي أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ، أَمْ لَا؟ وَلَا أَدْرِي كَيْفَ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ هَذَا الْحَرْفَ: وَقَدْ بَلَغْتُ مِنَ الْكِبَرِ عِتِيًّا سورة مريم آية 8 أَوْ 0 عُسُيًّا" 0؟.
