Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 22579
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Qatada (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I saw the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offering prayer in such a way that he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had lifted Zainab's (may Allah be pleased with her) granddaughter, Umaima, onto his shoulder. When the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would stand, he would lift her, and when he would bow down in ruku, he would put her down.

حضرت ابو قتادہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ کو اس طرح نماز پڑھتے ہوئے دیکھا کہ آپ ﷺ نے حضرت زینب رضی اللہ عنہ کی صاحبزادی امامہ کو اپنے کندھے پر اٹھا رکھا تھا نبی کریم ﷺ جب کھڑے ہوتے تو انہیں اٹھا لیتے اور جب رکوع میں جاتے تو انہیں نیچے اتار دیتے۔
Hazrat Abu Qatada Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ke maine ek martaba Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko is tarah namaz parhte huye dekha ke aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Hazrat Zainab Raziallahu Anha ki sahibzadi Imama ko apne kandhe par utha rakha tha Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab kharay hote to unhen utha lete aur jab ruku mein jate to unhen neeche utar dete.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ , وَعَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ , قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ، قَالَ: عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ فِي حَدِيثِهِ , قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ:" رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ حَامِلٌ أُمَامَةَ ابْنَةَ زَيْنَبَ، قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ: عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ، فَإِذَا رَكَعَ وَسَجَدَ وَضَعَهَا، وَإِذَا قَامَ حَمَلَهَا" .
