The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2290
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar and Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said while he was on the pulpit: “People should stop abandoning Jumu'ah (Friday prayer), otherwise Allah will seal their hearts and they will be included among the heedless."

سیدنا ابن عمر اور سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہم سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا جبکہ آپ ﷺ منبر پر تشریف فرما تھے: ”لوگ جمعہ چھوڑنے سے باز آجائیں، ورنہ اللہ تعالیٰ ان کے دلوں پر مہر لگا دے گا اور انہیں غافلوں میں لکھ دے گا۔“
Saina Ibn Umar aur Saina Ibn Abbas Raziallahu Anhuma se marvi hai ki Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya jabke aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mimbar par tashrif farma the: "Log Juma chhorne se baz aa jayen, warna Allah Ta'ala un ke dilon par mohar laga de ga aur unhen ghafilon mein likh de ga."
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ الْعَطَّارُ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ زَيْدٍ , عَنْ أَبِي سَلَّام ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ مِينَاءَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّهُمَا سَمِعَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ:" لَيَنْتَهِيَنَّ أَقْوَامٌ عَنْ وَدْعِهِمْ الْجُمُعَاتِ، أَوْ لَيَخْتِمَنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِم، ْثُمَّ لَيُكْتَبُنَّ مِنَ الْغَافِلِينَ".
