The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2301
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), once the Angel Jibreel (Gabriel) said to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "You have been blessed with the love of prayer, so engage in it as much as you desire."

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ سے حضرت جبرئیل علیہ السلام نے کہا کہ آپ کو نماز کی محبت عطا کی گئی ہے، اس لئے اسے جتنا چاہیں اختیار کریں۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se Hazrat Jibraeel Alaihissalam ne kaha ki aap ko namaz ki muhabbat ata ki gayi hai, is liye ise jitna chahein ikhtiyar karen.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنَّ جِبْرِيلَ قَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِنَّهُ قَدْ حُبِّبَ إِلَيْكَ الصَّلَاةُ، فَخُذْ مِنْهَا مَا شِئْتَ".
