Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 23356
Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) once held my shin or his own shin and said, "This is where the lower garment should be (tied). If you do not agree, then let it hang a little below this. If you do not agree to this either, then the lower garment has no right to be below the ankles."

حضرت حذیفہ بن یمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ایک مرتبہ میری یا اپنی پنڈلی کی مچھلی پکڑ کر فرمایا تہبند باندھنے کی جگہ یہاں تک ہے اگر تم نہ مانو تو اس سے کچھ نیچے لٹکالو اگر یہ بھی نہ مانو تو ٹخنوں سے نیچے تہبند کا کوئی حق نہیں ہے۔
Hazrat Huzaifa bin Yaman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek martaba meri ya apni pindli ki machhli pakad kar farmaya tehband bandhne ki jagah yahan tak hai agar tum na mano to is se kuch niche latkalo agar ye bhi na mano to takhno se niche tehband ka koi haq nahi hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبةُ ، عَنْ أَبي إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مُسْلِمَ بنَ نُذَيْرٍ ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ ، قَالَ: أَخَذَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بعَضَلَةِ سَاقِي، أَوْ بعَضَلَةِ سَاقِهِ، قَالَ: فَقَالَ: " الْإِزَارُ هَاهُنَا فَإِنْ أَبيْتَ فَهَهُنَا، فَإِنْ أَبيْتَ فَلَا حَقَّ لِلْإِزَارِ فِي الْكَعْبيْنِ" ، أَوْ" لَا حَقَّ لِلْكَعْبيْنِ فِي الْإِزَارِ".
