Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 23492
It is narrated by a villager companion, may Allah be pleased with him, that once during the blessed era of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, I brought a camel to Medina. When I finished selling it, I thought I would meet this man and listen to his words. So I found the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, walking between Abu Bakr and Umar, may Allah be pleased with them. I also started walking behind them until all three of them reached a Jew who was reading the Torah, which he had opened, and comforting himself through it, saying his extremely handsome and beautiful young son was nearing death. The Holy Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to him, "I ask you, swearing by the One who revealed the Torah, do you read these same attributes of mine and these same circumstances of my prophethood in the Torah?" He gestured in denial with his head. His dying son said, "Yes! By the One who revealed the Torah, we find these same attributes of yours and these same circumstances of your prophethood in our book, and I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and that you are the Messenger of Allah." The Holy Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Take these Jews away from your brother." Then the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, himself arranged for his shrouding, burial, and funeral prayer.

ایک دیہاتی صحابی رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے دور باسعادت میں میں ایک اونٹ مدینہ منور لے کر آیاجب میں اسے بیچ کر فارغ ہوگیا تو میں نے سوچا کہ اس آدمی سے ملتا ہوں اور اس کی باتیں سنتا ہوں چناچہ نبی کریم ﷺ مجھے حضرت ابوبکروعمر رضی اللہ عنہ کے درمیان چلتے ہوئے ملے میں بھی ان کے پیچھے چلنے لگا حتیٰ کہ وہ تینوں ایک یہودی کے پاس پہنچے جو تورات کھولے اسے پڑھ رہا تھا اور اس کے ذریعے اپنے آپ کو تسلی دے رہا تھا کہ اس کا انتہائی حسین و جمیل جوان بیٹا قریب المرگ تھا نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس سے فرمایا میں تمہیں اس ذات کی قسم دے کر پوچھتا ہوں جس نے تورات کو نازل کیا ہے کہ کیا تم تورات میں میری یہی صفات اور بعثت کے یہی حالات پڑھتے ہو؟ اس نے اپنے سر سے نفی میں اشارہ کردیا اس کے قریب المرگ بیٹے نے کہا ہاں! اس ذات کی قسم جس نے تورات کو نازل کیا ہے ہم اپنی کتاب میں آپ کی یہی صفات اور بعثت کے یہی حالات پاتے ہیں اور میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے علاوہ کوئی معبود نہیں اور یہ کہ آپ اللہ کے رسول ہیں نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اپنے بھائی کے پاس سے ان یہودیوں کو اٹھا دو پھر نبی کریم ﷺ نے خود اس کے کفن دفن اور نماز جنازہ کا انتظام فرمایا۔
aik dehati sahabi razi Allah un se marvi hai ki aik martaba nabi kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke dor basadat mein mein aik unt madina munawwar le kar aya jab mein use bech kar farigh hogaya to mein ne socha ki us aadmi se milta hun aur us ki baaten sunta hun chunacha nabi kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mujhe hazrat abubakar omar razi Allah un ke darmiyan chalte huye mile mein bhi un ke peeche chalne laga hatta ki woh teenon aik yahoodi ke paas pahunche jo torah kholay usay parh raha tha aur us ke zareye apne aap ko tasalli de raha tha ki us ka intahai hussain o jameel jawan beta qareeb ul marg tha nabi kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne us se farmaya mein tumhen us zaat ki qasam de kar puchta hun jis ne torah ko nazil kya hai ki kya tum torah mein meri yahi sifat aur bashat ke yahi haalat parhte ho us ne apne sar se nafi mein ishara kardiya us ke qareeb ul marg bete ne kaha haan us zaat ki qasam jis ne torah ko nazil kya hai hum apni kitab mein aap ki yahi sifat aur bashat ke yahi haalat pate hain aur mein gawahi deta hun ki Allah ke ilawa koi mabood nahin aur ye ki aap Allah ke rasool hain nabi kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya apne bhai ke paas se in yahoodion ko utha do phir nabi kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne khud us ke kafan dafan aur namaz janaza ka intezam farmaya.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبي صَخْرٍ الْعُقَيْلِيِّ ، حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْأَعْرَاب، قَالَ: جَلَبتُ جَلُوبةً إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ فِي حَيَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَلَمَّا فَرَغْتُ مِنْ بيْعَتِي، قُلْتُ: لَأَلْقَيَنَّ هَذَا الرَّجُلَ، فَلَأَسْمَعَنَّ مِنْهُ، قَالَ: فَتَلَقَّانِي بيْنَ أَبي بكْرٍ، وَعُمَرَ يَمْشُونَ فَتَبعْتُهُمْ فِي أَقْفَائِهِمْ، حَتَّى أَتَوْا عَلَى رَجُلٍ مِنْ الْيَهُودِ نَاشِرًا التَّوْرَاةَ يَقْرَؤُهَا، يُعَزِّي بهَا نَفْسَهُ عَلَى ابنٍ لَهُ فِي الْمَوْتِ، كَأَحْسَنِ الْفِتْيَانِ وَأَجْمَلِهِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَنْشُدُكَ بالَّذِي أَنْزَلَ التَّوْرَاةَ، هَلْ تَجِدُ فِي كِتَابكَ ذَا صِفَتِي وَمَخْرَجِي؟"، فَقَالَ برَأْسِهِ هَكَذَا، أَيْ: لَا، فَقَالَ ابنُهُ: إِنِّي وَالَّذِي أَنْزَلَ التَّوْرَاةَ، إِنَّا لَنَجِدُ فِي كِتَابنَا صِفَتَكَ وَمَخْرَجَكَ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَأَنَّكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، فَقَالَ:" أَقِيمُوا الْيَهُودَ عَنْ أَخِيكُمْ"، ثُمَّ وَلِيَ كَفَنَهُ، وَحَنَّطَهُ، وَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ .
