Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 23696
Narrated by Muheesa bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) that he had a slave who was an expert in cupping, whose name was Nafi Abu Tayyib. He came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and asked about his slave's daily wages. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Do not even go near it." He then repeated the same question to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Buy fodder for a camel that brings water and feed your slave.”

حضرت محیصہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ان کا ایک غلام سینگی لگانے کا ماہر تھا جس کا نام نافع ابوطیبہ تھا وہ نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے اور اپنے غلام کے یومیہ زر محصول کے متعلق پوچھا نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ اس کے قریب بھی نہ جانا انہوں نے پھر یہی سوال نبی کریم ﷺ کے سامنے دہرایا تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ اس سے پانی لاد کر لانے والے اونٹ کا چارہ خرید لیا کرو اور اپنے غلام کو کھلا دیا کرو۔
Hazrat Moihisa bin Masood Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki un ka aik ghulam sangee lagane ka mahir tha jis ka naam Nafeh Abutaibah tha woh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir huye aur apne ghulam ke yoomiya zar mahsool ke mutaliq poocha Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki us ke qareeb bhi na jana unhon ne phir yahi sawal Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke samne dohraya to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki us se pani lad kar lane wale unt ka chara khareed liya karo aur apne ghulam ko khila diya karo.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ حَرَامِ بْنِ مُحَيِّصَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ كَسْبِ الْحَجَّامِ، فَنَهَاهُ، فَأَعَادَ عَلَيْهِ فَنَهَاهُ، فَذَكَرَ مِنْ حَاجَتِهِ، فَقَالَ: " اعْلِفْ نَاضِحَكَ، وَأَطْعِمْهُ رَقِيقَكَ" .
