Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 23734
It is narrated on the authority of Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) that when he reached near a city, he said to his companions, "Leave me so that I can present the invitation to them in the same way as I saw the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) present it." Then he said to the people of the city, "I was one among you. Allah has guided me to Islam. If you also accept Islam, you will have the same rights as we have. If you refuse it, then pay Jizya, in this state you will be humiliated. And if you refuse even this, then we will fight you back. Indeed, Allah does not like the treacherous." For three days he kept doing the same. Then on the fourth day he proceeded towards the city along with his companions and conquered it.

حضرت سلمان رضی اللہ عنہ کے حوالے سے مروی ہے کہ وہ ایک شہر کے قریب پہنچے تو اپنے ساتھیوں سے فرمایا کہ مجھے چھوڑ دو تاکہ میں ان کے سامنے اسی طرح دعوت پیش کردوں جیسے میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو دعوت دیتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے پھر انہوں نے اہل شہر سے فرمایا کہ میں تم ہی میں کا ایک فرد تھا اللہ نے مجھے اسلام کی ہدایت دے دی اگر تم بھی اسلام قبول کرلو تو تمہارے وہی حقوق ہوں گے جو ہمارے ہیں اگر تم اس سے انکار کرتے ہوجزیہ ادا کرو اس حال میں تم ذلیل ہوگے اگر تم اس سے بھی انکار کرتے ہو تو ہم تمہیں برابرکا جواب دیں گے بیشک اللہ خیانت کرنے والوں کو پسند نہیں فرماتا " تین دن تک وہ اسی طرح کرتے رہے پھر جب چوتھا دن ہوا تو وہ لوگوں کو لے کر اس شہر کی طرف بڑھے اور اسے فتح کرلیا۔
Hazrat Salman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke hawale se marvi hai ki woh aik shehar ke qareeb pahunche to apne sathion se farmaya ki mujhe chhor do taake main in ke samne isi tarah dawat pesh kardoon jaise main ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko dawat dete huye dekha hai phir unhon ne ahl shehar se farmaya ki main tum hi mein ka aik fard tha Allah ne mujhe Islam ki hidayat de di agar tum bhi Islam qubool karlo to tumhare wohi huqooq honge jo humare hain agar tum is se inkar karte ho jizya ada karo is haal mein tum zaleel hoge agar tum is se bhi inkar karte ho to hum tumhen barabarka jawab denge beshak Allah khiyanat karne walon ko pasand nahin farmata teen din tak woh isi tarah karte rahe phir jab chautha din hua to woh logon ko le kar is shehar ki taraf barhe aur ise fatah karliya.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْبَخْتَرِيِّ ، أَنَّ سَلْمَانَ حَاصَرَ قَصْرًا مِنْ قُصُورِ فَارِسَ، فقال لأصحابه: دَعُوني حتى أَفعلَ ما رأيتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَفْعَلُ،" فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: إِنِّي امْرُؤٌ مِنْكُمْ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ رَزَقَنِي الْإِسْلَامَ، وَقَدْ تَرَوْنَ طَاعَةَ الْعَرَبِ، فَإِنْ أَنْتُمْ أَسْلَمْتُمْ وَهَاجَرْتُمْ إِلَيْنَا، فَأَنْتُمْ بِمَنْزِلَتِنَا، يَجْرِي عَلَيْكُمْ مَا يَجْرِي عَلَيْنَا، وَإِنْ أَنْتُمْ أَسْلَمْتُمْ وَأَقَمْتُمْ فِي دِيَارِكُمْ، فَأَنْتُمْ بِمَنْزِلَةِ الْأَعْرَابِ، يَجْرِي لَكُمْ مَا يَجْرِي لَهُمْ، وَيَجْرِي عَلَيْكُمْ مَا يَجْرِي عَلَيْهِمْ، فَإِنْ أَبَيْتُمْ وَأَقْرَرْتُمْ بِالْجِزْيَةِ، فَلَكُمْ مَا لِأَهْلِ الْجِزْيَةِ، وَعَلَيْكُمْ مَا عَلَى أَهْلِ الْجِزْيَةِ" ، عَرَضَ عَلَيْهِمْ ذَلِكَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ، ثُمَّ قَالَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ: انْهَدُوا إِلَيْهِمْ فَفَتَحَهَا.
