The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2413
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood up for prayer during some part of the night. I did the same and came and stood on the left side of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) took hold of me by the hand, turned me around, and made me stand on his right side.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ رات کے کسی حصے میں نماز پڑھنے لگے، میں نے بھی اسی طرح کیا اور آ کر نبی ﷺ کی بائیں جانب کھڑا ہو گیا، نبی ﷺ نے مجھے ہاتھ سے پکڑ کر گھما کر اپنی دائیں طرف کر لیا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) raat ke kisi hisse mein namaz parhne lage, main ne bhi isi tarah kiya aur aa kar Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki baayein jaanib khada ho gaya, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mujhe hath se pakar kar ghuma kar apni daayein taraf kar liya.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ، وَعَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ الْمَعْنَى ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ:" قُمْتُ أُصَلِّي مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقُمْتُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ، فَقَالَ بِيَدِهِ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ، حَتَّى أَخَذَ بِعَضُدِي أَوْ بِيَدِي حَتَّى أَقَامَنِي عَنْ يَمِينِهِ".
