Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24217

It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would wake up in the morning, he would pray two short rak'ahs (units of prayer), then he would lie down on his right side.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ جب صبح ہوجاتی تو دو مختصر رکعتیں پڑھتے، پھر دائیں پہلو پر لیٹ جاتے۔

Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab subah hojati to do mukhtasir rakaten parhte, phir dayen pehlu par lait jate.

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَت:" كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا رَكَعَ رَكْعَتَيْ الْفَجْرِ اضْطَجَعَ عَلَى شِقِّهِ الْأَيْمَنِ" .
