Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24387
It is narrated by Durrah bint Abi Lahab (may Allah be pleased with her) that once I was with Ayesha (may Allah be pleased with her) when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came and said, "Bring me water for ablution." Ayesha (may Allah be pleased with her) and I both rushed towards a vessel, I reached it first and brought it. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed ablution, looked up at me and said, “You are from me and I am from you.” Then a man was brought to him and he said, “I didn’t do this thing but people told me to ask you.” He had asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) while he was on the pulpit, who is the best among the people? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “The one who has the most understanding of the religion of Allah and is the most diligent in maintaining ties of kinship.”

حضرت درہ بنت ابی لہب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے پاس تھی کہ نبی ﷺ تشریف لے آئے اور فرمایا میرے پاس وضو کا پانی لاؤ، میں اور حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا ایک برتن کی طرف تیزی سے بڑھے، میں پہلے پہنچ گئی اور اسے لے آئی، پھر نبی ﷺ نے وضو کیا اور نگاہیں اٹھا کر مجھ سے فرمایا تم مجھ سے ہو اور میں تم سے ہوں، پھر ایک آدمی کو لایا گیا، اس نے کہا کہ میں نے یہ کام نہیں کیا بلکہ لوگوں نے مجھ سے کہا تھا، اس نے نبی ﷺ سے برسر منبر یہ سوال کیا تھا کہ لوگوں میں سب سے بہترین کون ہے؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا جو اللہ کے دین کی سب سے زیادہ سمجھ بوجھ رکھتا ہو اور سب سے زیادہ صلہ رحمی کرنے والا ہو۔
Hazrat Darah bint Abi Lahab Raziallahu Anha se marvi hai ki aik martaba main Hazrat Ayesha Raziallahu Anha ke pass thi ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) tashreef le aaye aur farmaya mere pass wazu ka pani lao, main aur Hazrat Ayesha Raziallahu Anha aik bartan ki taraf tezi se barhe, main pehle pohnch gayi aur use le aayi, phir Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne wazu kiya aur nigahen utha kar mujh se farmaya tum mujh se ho aur main tum se hun, phir aik aadmi ko laya gaya, usne kaha ki maine yeh kaam nahin kiya balki logon ne mujh se kaha tha, usne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se minbar par yeh sawal kiya tha ki logon mein sab se behtarin kaun hai? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jo Allah ke deen ki sab se zyada samajh boojh rakhta ho aur sab se zyada sila rehmi karne wala ho.
حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ سِمَاك ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمِيرَةَ ، عَنْ دُرَّةَ بِنْتِ أَبِي لَهَبٍ ، قَالَتْ: كُنْتُ عِنْدَ عَائِشَةَ، فَدَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ:" ائْتُونِي بِوَضُوءٍ"، فَقاَلْتُ: فَابْتَدَرْتُ أَنَا وَعَائِشَةُ الْكُوزَ، قَالَتْ: فَبَدَرْتُهَا فَأَخَذْتُهُ أَنَا، فَتَوَضَّأَ فَرَفَعَ طَرْفَهُ أَوْ عَيْنَهُ أَوْ بَصَرَهُ إِلَيَّ، فَقَالَ:" أَنْتِ مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْكِ"، قَالَتْ: فَأُتِيَ بِرَجُلٍ، فَقَالَ:" مَا أَنَا فَعَلْتُهُ وَلَكِنْ قِيلَ لِي"، قَالَتْ: وَكَانَ سَأَلَهُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ مَنْ خَيْرُ النَّاس؟ فَقَالَ: " أَفْقَهُهُمْ فِي دِينِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، وَأَوْصَلُهُمْ لِرَحِمِهِ" ، وَذَكَرَ فِيهِ شَرِيكٌ شَيْئَيْنِ آخَرَيْنِ لَمْ أَحْفَظْهُمَا.
