Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24919
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha that once some meat, given in charity, was brought to Barirah. She sent it to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as a gift. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was told that it was meat given in charity. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "It was charity for her, and now it is a gift for us."

حضرت عائشہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ بریرہ کے پاس صدیقہ کا گوشت کہیں سے آیا، انہوں نے وہ نبی ﷺ کے پاس ہدیہ کے طور پر بھیج دیا، نبی ﷺ کو بتایا گیا کہ یہ صدقہ کا گوشت ہے، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا یہ اس کے لئے صدقہ تھا، اب ہمارے لئے ہدیہ بن گیا ہے۔
Hazrat Ayesha se marvi hai keh aik martaba Bureira ke paas Siddiqah ka gosht kahin se aaya, unhon ne woh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke paas hadiya ke taur par bhej diya, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko bataya gaya keh yeh sadqah ka gosht hai, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya yeh uske liye sadqah tha, ab humare liye hadiya ban gaya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي عُتْبَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ : أَنَّهُ كَانَ تُصُدِّقَ عَلَى بَرِيرَةَ مِنْ لَحْمِ الصَّدَقَةِ، فَأَهْدَتْ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ: إِنَّهُ مِنْ لَحْمِ الصَّدَقَةِ، فَقَالَ: " إِنَّهُ لَهَا صَدَقَةٌ، وَلَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ" .
