Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24935
It is narrated by Aisha that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was suffering from the illness that led to his death, I placed my hand on the chest of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and prayed: “O Lord of the people! Remove this ailment, You are the Healer, and You are the One who grants cure.” But the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) removed my hand from his chest and he himself prayed: "Grant me the companionship of the highest companion, grant me the companionship of the highest companion.”

حضرت عائشہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ جب مرض الوفات میں مبتلا ہوئے تو میں نے اپنا ہاتھ نبی ﷺ کے سینے پر رکھ کر یہ دعاء کی کہ اے لوگوں کے رب! اس تکلیف کو دور فرما، تو ہی طبیب ہے اور تو ہی شفاء دینے والا ہے اور نبی ﷺ اپنا ہاتھ مجھ سے چھڑا کر خود یہ دعا فرما رہے تھے کہ مجھے رفیق اعلیٰ سے ملا دے، مجھے رفیق اعلیٰ سے ملا دے۔
Hazrat Ayesha se marvi hai keh Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) jab marz ul wafat mein mubtila huay to main ne apna hath Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke seene par rakh kar yeh dua ki keh aye logon ke rab! Is takleef ko door farma, tu hi tabib hai aur tu hi shifa dene wala hai aur Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) apna hath mujh se chura kar khud yeh dua farma rahe thay keh mujhe Rafiq e Aala se mila de, mujhe Rafiq e Aala se mila de.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ: لَمَّا مَرِضَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخَذْتُ بِيَدِهِ، فَجَعَلْتُ أُمِرُّهَا عَلَى صَدْرِهِ، وَدَعَوْتُ بِهَذِهِ الْكَلِمَاتِ أَذْهِبْ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ، فَانْتَزَعَ يَدَهُ مِنْ يَدِي، وَقَالَ: " أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ الرَّفِيقَ الْأَعْلَى الْأَسْعَدَ" .
