Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24962
'Aabis ibn Rabiah said that we asked Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, "Did the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbid eating the meat of the sacrifice after three days?" She said, "No, but at that time sacrifices were very few. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, gave this order so that those who sacrificed could give meat to those who could not afford to sacrifice." And we have seen the time when we would preserve the legs of our sacrificed animals and eat them after ten days." I said, "Why did you need to do this?" So she laughed and said, "The family of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, never filled their stomachs with bread and curry for three consecutive days until he met Allah."

عابس بن ربیعہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے پوچھا کیا نبی ﷺ نے تین دن کے بعد قربانی کا گوشت کھانا حرام قرار دے دیا تھا؟ انہوں نے فرمایا نہیں، البتہ اس زمانے میں قربانی بہت کم کی جاتی تھی، نبی ﷺ نے یہ حکم اس لئے دیا کہ قربانی کرنے والے ان لوگوں کی بھی کھانے کے لئے گوشت دے دیں جو قربانی نہیں کرسکے اور ہم نے وہ وقت دیکھا ہے جب ہم اپنے قربانی کے جانور کے پائے محفوظ کر کے رکھ لیتے تھے اور دس دن بعد انہیں کھالیتے تھے۔ میں نے عرض کیا کہ آپ کو ایسا کرنے کی ضرورت کیوں پیش آتی تھی؟ تو انہوں نے ہنس کر فرمایا کہ نبی ﷺ کے اہل خانہ نے کبھی تین دن تک روٹی سالن سے پیٹ نہیں بھرا تھا۔ یہاں تک کہ وہ اللہ سے جا ملے۔
Aabis bin Rabia kehte hain ke humne Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se poocha kya Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne teen din ke baad qurbani ka gosht khana haram qarar de diya tha? Unhon ne farmaya nahi, albatta us zamane mein qurbani bahut kam ki jati thi, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ye hukum is liye diya ke qurbani karne wale un logon ki bhi khane ke liye gosht de dein jo qurbani nahi karsake aur humne woh waqt dekha hai jab hum apne qurbani ke jaanwar ke paaye mahfooz kar ke rakh lete the aur das din baad unhen khalete the. Maine arz kiya ke aap ko aisa karne ki zaroorat kyun pesh aati thi? To unhon ne hans kar farmaya ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke ahl khana ne kabhi teen din tak roti salan se pet nahi bhara tha. Yahan tak ke woh Allah se ja mile.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَاقِ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَابِسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَابِسِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَ: سَأَلْنَاهَا أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى أَنْ تُؤْكَلَ لُحُومُ الْأَضَاحِيِّ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثٍ؟ فَقَالَتْ:" مَا قَالَهُ إِلَّا فِي عَامٍ جَاعَ النَّاسُ فِيهِ، فَأَرَادَ أَنْ يُطْعِمَ الْغَنِيُّ الْفَقِيرَ، وَقَدْ كُنَّا نَرْفَعُ الْكُرَاعَ فَنَأْكُلُهَا بَعْدَ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ. قُلْتُ: فَمَا اضْطَرَّكُمْ إِلَى ذَلِكَ؟ قَالَ: فَضَحِكَتْ، وَقَالَتْ: مَا شَبِعَ آلُ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ خُبْزٍ مَأْدُومٍ ثَلَاثَ لَيَالٍ حَتَّى لَحِقَ بِاللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ" .
