Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25110
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) received some lizard meat. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) neither ate it himself nor did he forbid it. I (Aisha) said, "O Messenger of Allah, shall we not feed this to the poor?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "Do not feed them what you yourselves do not eat."

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ کے پاس کہیں سے گوہ آئی، نبی ﷺ نے اسے تناول فرمایا اور نہ ہی اس سے منع فرمایا: میں نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! کیا ہم یہ مسکینوں کو نہ کھلا دیں؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا جو چیز تم خود نہیں کھاتے وہ انہیں بھی مت کھلاؤ۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha se marvi hai keh aik martaba Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ke paas kahin se gau aai, Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne isay tanavul farmaya aur na hi is se mana farmaya: mein ne arz kya Ya Rasulullah! kya hum yeh miskino ko na khila dain? Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya jo cheez tum khud nahi khate wo unhen bhi mat khilao.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ: أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِضَبٍّ فَلَمْ يَأْكُلْهُ، فَقُلْتُ: أَلَا نُطْعِمُهُ الْمَسَاكِينَ؟ قَالَ: " لَا تُطْعِمُوهُمْ مِمَّا لَا تَأْكُلُونَ" .
