Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25342
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that whenever there were clouds or a dust storm, signs of worry would appear on the blessed face of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would repeatedly enter and exit the house, pacing back and forth. When someone inquired about the reason, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "I am not reassured that it might not contain a punishment, for a nation before this was punished with a windstorm. When they saw the punishment, they assumed it to be clouds, saying, 'This cloud will bring us rain.' But it contained a painful punishment.”

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ جب بادل یا آندھی نظر آتی تو نبی ﷺ کے روئے مبارک پر تفکرات کے آثار نظر آنے لگتے تھے اور نبی ﷺ باربار گھر میں داخل ہوتے اور باہر جاتے اور آگے پیچھے ہوتے، کسی نے اس کی وجہ پوچھی تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا مجھے اس چیز سے اطمینان نہیں ہوتا کہ کہیں اس میں عذاب نہ ہو، کیونکہ اس سے پہلے ایک قوم پر آندھی کا عذاب ہوچکا ہے، جب ان لوگوں نے عذاب کو دیکھا تھا تو اسے بادل سمجھ کر یہ کہہ رہے تھے کہ یہ بادل ہم پر بارش برسائے گا لیکن اس میں دردناک عذاب تھا۔
Hazrat Aisha Radi Allaho Anha se marvi hai keh jab badal ya aandhi nazar aati tou Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ke roye mubarak par tafakkuraat ke asar nazar aane lagte thay aur Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam baar baar ghar mein dakhil hote aur bahar jate aur aage peeche hote, kisi ne is ki wajah poochi tou Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya mujhe is cheez se itminan nahin hota keh kahin is mein azab na ho, kyunki is se pehle ek qaum par aandhi ka azab hochuka hai, jab un logon ne azab ko dekha tha tou ise badal samajh kar yeh keh rahe thay keh yeh badal hum par barish barsaye ga lekin is mein dardnak azab tha.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا رَأَى مَخِيلَةً، تَغَيَّرَ وَجْهُهُ، وَدَخَلَ وَخَرَجَ، وَأَقْبَلَ وَأَدْبَرَ، فَإِذَا مَطَرَتْ، سُرِّيَ عَنْهُ، فَذُكِرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ، فَقَالَ:" مَا أَمِنْتُ أَنْ يَكُونَ كَمَا قَالَ اللَّهُ: فَلَمَّا رَأَوْهُ عَارِضًا مُسْتَقْبِلَ أَوْدِيَتِهِمْ إِلَى رِيحٌ فِيهَا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ سورة الأحقاف آية 24" .
