Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25373
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha Radi Allahu Anha that the Holy Prophet peace and blessings of Allah be upon him used his right hand for eating and drinking and other necessities, and used his left hand for Istinja (cleaning oneself after using the toilet) and other similar tasks.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کا داہنا ہاتھ کھانے اور ضروریات کے لے تھا اور بایاں ہاتھ استنجاء وغیرہ کرنے کے لئے۔
Hazrat Ayesha raza Allah tala anha se marvi hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka dahina hath khane aur zarooriyat ke le tha aur baayan hath istinja waghaira karne ke le.
حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مُغِيرَةُ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ:" كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُفْرِغُ يَمِينَهُ لِمَطْعَمِهِ وَلِحَاجَتِهِ، وَيُفْرِغُ شِمَالَهُ لِلِاسْتِنْجَاءِ وَلِمَا هُنَاكَ" .
