Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25551
It is narrated on the authority of Ayesha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once Asma (may Allah be pleased with her) asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about the "Ghusl of menstruation". The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Take water and berry and cleanse yourself thoroughly, then pour water over your head and rub it well so that the water reaches the roots, then pour water, then take a piece of musk and cleanse yourself. She said: How does a woman cleanse herself with it? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Subhanallah! She should cleanse herself with it, meaning the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) meant that she should remove the traces of blood with it. Then she asked about "Ghusl of Janabat" (major ablution), so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Take water and cleanse yourself thoroughly and pour water on your head and rub it well so that the water reaches the roots, then pour water over it. Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said that the women of the Ansar are very good, who are not prevented from understanding religion by shyness.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ حضرت اسماء رضی اللہ عنہ نے نبی ﷺ سے " غسل حیض " کے متعلق پوچھا تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا پانی اور بیری لے کر خوب اچھی طرح پاکیزگی حاصل کرلیا کرو، پھر سر پر پانی بہا کر خوب اچھی طرح اسے ملو تاکہ جڑوں تک پانی پہنچ جائے، پھر پانی بہاؤ، پھر مشک کا ایک ٹکڑا لے کر طہارت حاصل کرو، وہ کہنے لگیں کہ عورت اس سے کس طرح طہارت حاصل کرے؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا سبحان اللہ! بھئی اس سے پاکی حاصل کرے، دراصل نبی ﷺ کا مقصد یہ تھا کہ اس سے خون کے نشانات دور کرے، پھر انہوں " غسل جنابت " کے متعلق پوچھا تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا یا پانی لے کر خوب اچھی طرح طہارت حاصل کرو اور سر پر پانی ڈال کر اسے اچھی طرح ملو تاکہ جڑوں تک پانی پہنچ جائے، پھر اس پر پانی بہاؤ۔ حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ انصار کی عورتیں بہت اچھی ہیں جنہیں دین کی سمجھ بوجھ حاصل کرنے میں شرم مانع نہیں ہوتی۔
Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki aik martaba Hazrat Asma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se "Ghusl e Haiz" ke mutaliq poocha to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya pani aur beri le kar khoob achi tarah pakeezgi hasil kar liya karo, phir sar par pani baha kar khoob achi tarah ise malo takay jarron tak pani pohanch jaye, phir pani bahao, phir misk ka aik tukda le kar taharat hasil karo, wo kahne lagi ke aurat is se kis tarah taharat hasil kare? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Subhan Allah! Behan is se paki hasil kare, darasal Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka maqsad ye tha ki is se khoon ke nishanat door kare, phir unhon "Ghusl e Janabat" ke mutaliq poocha to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya pani le kar khoob achi tarah taharat hasil karo aur sar par pani daal kar ise achi tarah malo takay jarron tak pani pohanch jaye, phir is par pani bahao. Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) kahti hain ki Ansar ki aurten bahut achi hain jinhen deen ki samajh boojh hasil karne mein sharm mane nahi hoti.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، وَعَفَّانُ ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُهَاجِرٍ ، عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ شَيْبَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ: ذُكِرَتْ نِسَاءُ الْأَنْصَارِ، فَأَثْنَتْ عَلَيْهِنَّ، وَقَالَتْ لَهُنَّ مَعْرُوفًا، وَقَالَتْ: لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ سُورَةُ النُّورِ، عَمَدْنَ إِلَى حُجَزِ أَوْ حُجُوزِ مَنَاطِقِهِنَّ، فَشَقَقْنَهُ، ثُمَّ اتَّخَذْنَ مِنْهُ خُمُرًا، وَأَنَّهَا دَخَلَتْ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْهُنَّ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَخْبِرْنِي، عَنِ الطُّهُورِ مِنَ الْمَحِيضِ، فَقَالَ: " نَعَمْ، لِتَأْخُذْ إِحْدَاكُنَّ مَاءَهَا وَسِدْرَتَهَا فَلْتَطَّهَّرْ، ثُمَّ لِتُحْسِنْ الطُّهُورَ، ثُمَّ تَصُبَّ عَلَى رَأْسِهَا، ثُمَّ لِتُلْزِقْ بِشُؤُونِ رَأْسِهَا، ثُمَّ تَدْلُكْهُ، فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ طُهُورٌ، ثُمَّ تَصُبَّ عَلَيْهَا مِنَ الْمَاءِ، ثُمَّ تَأْخُذْ فِرْصَةً مُمَسَّكَةً، فَلْتَطَّهَّرْ بِهَا" قَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، كَيْفَ أَتَطَهَّرُ بِهَا؟ فَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُكْنِي عَنْ ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: تَتْبَعُ بِهَا أَثَرَ الدَّمِ . قَالَ عَفَّانُ: ثُمَّ لِتَصُبَّ عَلَى رَأْسِهَا مِنَ الْمَاءِ، وَلْتُلْصِقْ شُؤُونَ رَأْسِهَا فَلْتَدْلُكْهُ، قَالَ عَفَّانُ: إِلَى حُجَزٍ أَوْ حُجُوزٍ.
