Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25864
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha Radi Allahu Anha that whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw a cloud in the sky, he would leave every work, even if he was in prayer, and he would pray this prayer: "O Allah! I seek refuge in You from its evil.” When it cleared up, he would offer thanks, and when he saw it raining, he would say, “O Allah! Make it a heavy and beneficial downpour."

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ جب آسمان کے کنارے پر کوئی بادل دیکھتے تو ہر کام چھوڑ دیتے اگرچہ نماز ہی میں ہوتے اور یہ دعاء کرتے کہ اے اللہ! میں اس کے شر سے آپ کی پناہ میں آتا ہوں، جب وہ کھل جاتا تو شکر ادا کرتے اور جب بارش ہوتے ہوئے دیکھتے تو فرماتے اے اللہ! موسلا دھار ہو اور نفع بخش۔
Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab asmaan ke kinare par koi badal dekhte to har kaam chhor dete agarcheh namaz hi mein hote aur yeh dua karte keh aye Allah main iss ke shar se aap ki panaah mein aata hun jab woh khul jata to shukr ada karte aur jab barish hote huye dekhte to farmate aye Allah moosla dhaar ho aur nafe bakhsh.
حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ , قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكٌ , عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا رَأَى نَاشِئًا فِي السَّمَاءِ سَحَابًا , أَوْ رِيحًا , اسْتَقْبَلَهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ كَانَ , وَإِنْ كَانَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ يَتَعَوَّذُ بِاللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْ شَرِّه , فَإِذَا أَمْطَرَتْ , قَالَ: " اللَّهُمَّ صَيِّبًا نَافِعًا" .
