Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26066
It is narrated on the authority of Umm al-Mu'minin Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) swore that he would not go near his pure wives for a month. After 29 days had passed, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) first came to me, so I said that according to my calculation, today is the 29th day. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "A month is sometimes 29 days long."

ام المومنین حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے قسم کھالی کہ ایک ماہ تک اپنی ازواج مطہرات کے پاس نہیں جائیں گے، ٢٩ دن گذرنے کے بعد سب سے پہلے نبی ﷺ میرے پاس تشریف لائے تو میں نے عرض کیا کہ میری شمار کے مطابق تو آج ٢٩ دن ہوئے ہیں، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا مہینہ بعض اوقات ٩ ٢ کا بھی ہوتا ہے۔
Um ul momineen hazrat Aisha raza Allaho anha se marvi hai k aik martaba nabi salAllaho alaihi wasallam ne qasam khai k aik mah tak apni azwaj e mutahirat k pass nahi jayen ge, 29 din guzarne k baad sab se pehle nabi salAllaho alaihi wasallam mere pass tashreef laye to maine arz kya k meri shumaar k mutabiq to aaj 29 din huye hain, nabi salAllaho alaihi wasallam ne farmaya maheena baaz auqat 9 2 ka bhi hota hai.
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ , قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ الْخَزَّازُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ: دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ لِتِسْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ , فَقُلْتُ: إِنِّي مَا خَفِيَتْ عَلَيَّ مِنْهُنَّ لَيْلَةٌ , إِنَّمَا مَضَتْ تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ لَيْلَةً , فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" يَا عَائِشَةُ , إِنَّ الشَّهْرَ تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ" .
