Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26090
It is narrated on the authority of Umm al-Mu'minin Aisha Radi Allahu Anha that once she took a sheet with pictures on it. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw it and stood at the door, not entering. I saw signs of disapproval on his face. I said, "O Messenger of Allah! I repent to Allah and His Messenger, what wrong have I done?” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “What is this sheet?” I said, “I bought it for you to sit on and lean on.” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Those who make these pictures will be punished on the Day of Resurrection, and it will be said to them, ‘Give life to what you have created.’" He further said, "The angels of mercy do not enter a house in which there are pictures.”

ام المؤمنین حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ انہوں نے ایک تصویر والی چادر لی، نبی ﷺ نے اسے دیکھا تو دورازے پر ہی کھڑے رہے، اندر نہ آئے، میں نے ان کے چہرے پر ناپسندیدگی کے آثار دیکھے، میں نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! میں اللہ اور اس کے رسول کے سامنے توبہ کرتی ہوں، مجھ سے کیا غلطی ہوئی؟ نبی ﷺ فرمایا یہ چادر کیسی ہے؟ میں نے عرض کیا کہ میں نے یہ آپ کے بیٹھنے اور ٹیک لگانے کے لئے خریدی ہے، نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا ان تصویروں والوں کو قیامت کے دن عذاب میں مبتلا کیا جائے گا اور ان سے کہا جائے گا کہ جو چیزیں تم نے تخلیق کی تھیں، انہیں زندگی بھی دو اور فرمایا جس گھر میں تصویریں ہوں، اس میں رحمت کے فرشتے داخل نہیں ہوتے۔
Um ul momineen Hazrat Ayesha razi Allah tala anha se marvi hai ke aik martaba unhon ne aik tasveer wali chadar li, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne use dekha to darwaze par hi khare rahe, andar na aaye, maine unke chehre par napasandeedgi ke asar dekhe, maine arz kiya Ya Rasul Allah main Allah aur uske Rasul ke samne tauba karti hun, mujhse kya ghalti hui? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya yeh chadar kaisi hai? Maine arz kiya ke maine yeh aapke baithne aur teek lagane ke liye kharidi hai, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya un tasveeron walon ko qayamat ke din azab mein mubtala kiya jayega aur unse kaha jayega ke jo cheezen tumne takhleeq ki thin, unhen zindagi bhi do aur farmaya jis ghar mein tasveeren hon, usme rehmat ke farishte dakhil nahin hote.
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ , حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ , عَنْ نَافِعٍ , عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , أَنَّهَا أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّهَا اشْتَرَتْ نُمْرُقَةً فِيهَا تَصَاوِيرُ , فَلَمَّا رَآهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَامَ عَلَى الْبَابِ , فَلَمْ يَدْخُلْ , فَعَرَفْتُ فِي وَجْهِهِ الْكَرَاهِيَةَ , فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ , أَتُوبُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَإِلَى رَسُولِهِ , مَا أَذْنَبْتُ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَا بَالُ هَذِهِ النُّمْرُقَةِ؟" فَقُلْتُ: اشْتَرَيْتُهَا لِتَقْعُدَ عَلَيْهَا وَلِتَوَسَّدَهَا , فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِنَّ أَصْحَابَ هَذِهِ الصُّورِ يُعَذَّبُونَ بِهَا , يُقَالُ لَهُمْ أَحْيُوا مَا خَلَقْتُمْ" , وَقَالَ:" إِنَّ الْبَيْتَ الَّذِي فِيهِ الصُّورَةُ لَا تَدْخُلُهُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ" .
