The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2619
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade killing (for food) any predatory beast that hunts with its fangs and any bird that hunts with its talons.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے کچلی سے شکار کرنے والے ہر درندے اور پنجے سے شکار کرنے والے ہر پرندے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne kachli se shikar karne wale har darinde aur panje se shikar karne wale har parinde se mana farmaya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ : أَنَّهُ" نَهَى عَنْ كُلِّ ذِي نَابٍ مِنَ السِّبَاعِ، وَذِي مِخْلَبٍ مِنَ الطَّيْرِ" , قَالَ: رَفَعَهُ الْحَكَمُ، قَالَ شُعْبَةُ: وَأَنَا أَكْرَهُ أَنْ أُحَدِّثَ بِرَفْعِهِ , قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَنِي غَيْلَانُ ، وَالْحَجَّاجُ ، عَنْ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ , عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، لَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ.
