Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26423
Narrated Hafsah: At the time of dawn, when no one would usually visit the Prophet (peace be upon him), he (peace be upon him) would pray two rak'ahs (units of prayer) just as the Mu'adh-dhin (call to prayer) began.

حضرت حفصہ سے مروی ہے کہ طلوع صبح صادق کے وقت جب کہ نبی ﷺ کے پاس اس وقت کوئی نہیں آتا تھا نبی ﷺ دو رکعتیں پڑھتے تھے اور منادی نماز کے لئے اذان دینے لگتا تھا۔
Hazrat Hafsa se marvi hai ki taloo subah sadiq ke waqt jab keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pass us waqt koi nahi aata tha Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) do rakaten parhte thay aur munadi namaz ke liye azan dene lagta tha.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَتْنِي حَفْصَةُ وَكَانَتْ سَاعَةٌ لَا يَدْخُلُ عَلَيْهِ فِيهَا أَحَدٌ , أَنَّهُ كَانَ: " يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ حِينَ يَطْلُعُ الْفَجْرُ تَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَيُنَادِي الْمُنَادِي بِالصَّلَاةِ ، قَالَ أَيُّوبُ: أُرَاهُ قَالَ: خَفِيفَتَيْنِ.
