Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26530
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that on the night of the day of sacrifice (10th Dhul Hijjah) during the Hajj of Farewell, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was to come to my house. So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to me. During that time, Wahb bin Zam'ah also came to my place along with another man from the Bani Aamir tribe, and both of them were wearing shirts. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked Wahb: "O Abu Abdullah! Have you performed the Farewell Tawaf?" He replied: "O Messenger of Allah! Not yet." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Then take off your shirts." So both of them pulled their shirts off over their heads. Then they asked: "O Messenger of Allah! What is the reason for this?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied: "On this day, when you have finished stoning the Jamarat, everything that was forbidden to you is permissible, except women. However, if you are unable to perform the Farewell Tawaf before evening, then you will become Muhrim again, just as you were before stoning the Jamarat, until you perform the Farewell Tawaf." Umm Qais said: “Once, I saw some people of Ukkashah bin Asad leaving my place. They were wearing shirts in the evening of the 10th of Dhul Hijjah. Then at night, they returned to me, carrying their shirts in their hands. I asked Ukkashah: “O Ukkashah! When you left from here, you were wearing shirts, but when you came back, you were carrying them in your hands." He replied: “Today we were given the concession that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'On this day, when you have finished stoning the Jamarat, everything that was forbidden to you is permissible, except women. However, if you are unable to perform the Farewell Tawaf before evening, then you will become Muhrim again, just as you were before stoning the Jamarat, until you perform the Farewell Tawaf.' Since we did not perform the Tawaf, that's why you are seeing our shirts like this."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ حجۃ الوداع کے موقع پر جس رات نبی ﷺ نے میرے پاس آنا تھا وہ یوم النحر (دس ذی الحجہ) کی رات تھی، چنانچہ نبی ﷺ میرے پاس آگئے، اسی دوران میرے یہاں وہب بن زمعہ بھی آگئے جن کے ساتھ آل ابی امیہ کا ایک اور آدمی بھی تھا اور ان دونوں نے قمیصیں پہن رکھی تھیں، نبی ﷺ نے وہب سے پوچھا کہ اے ابو عبداللہ کیا تم نے طواف زیارت کرلیا ہے، انہوں نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ ابھی تو نہیں، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا پھر اپنی قمیص اتاردو، چنانچہ ان دونوں نے اپنے سر سے کھینچ کر قمیص اتادری، پھر کہنے لگے یا رسول اللہ اس کی کیا وجہ ہے؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اس دن جب تم جمرات کی رمی کر چکو تو عورتوں کے علاوہ ہر وہ چیز جو تم پر حرام کی گئی تھی حلال ہوجاتی ہے لیکن اگر شام تک تم طواف زیارت نہ کرسکو تو تم اسی طرح محرم بن جاتے ہو جیسے رمی جمرات سے پہلے تھے تاآنکہ تم طواف زیارت کرلو۔ ام قیس کہتی ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ حضرت عکاشہ بنواسد کے کچھ لوگوں کے ہمراہ میرے یہاں سے نکلے انہوں نے دس ذی الحجہ کی شام کو قمیصیں پہن رکھی تھیں، پھر رات کو وہ میرے پاس واپس آئے تو انہوں نے اپنی قمیص اپنے ہاتھوں میں اٹھا رکھی تھیں، میں نے عکاشہ سے پوچھا کہ اے عکاشہ جب تم یہاں سے گئے تھے تو قمیصیں پہن رکھی تھیں اور جب واپس آئے تو ہاتھوں میں اٹھائے ہوئے انہوں نے بتایا کہ اس دن ہمیں یہ رخصت دی گئی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اس دن جب تم جمرات کی رمی کر چکو تو عورتوں کے علاوہ ہر وہ چیز جو تم پر حرام کی گئی تھی حلال ہوجاتی ہے لیکن اگر شام تک تم طواف زیارت نہ کرسکو تو تم اسی طرح محرم بن جاتے ہو جیسے رمی جمرات سے پہلے تھے تاآنکہ تم طواف زیارت کرلو ہم نے چونکہ طواف نہیں کیا تھا اس لئے تم ہماری قمیصیں اس طرح دیکھ رہی ہو۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Hajjat al-Wida ke mauqe par jis raat Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mere pass aana tha woh Yaum un-Nahr (das Zee al-Hijjah) ki raat thi, chunancha Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mere pass agaye, isi dauran mere yahan Wohb bin Zam'ah bhi agaye jin ke sath Al-e-Abi Umayyah ka ek aur aadmi bhi tha aur un donon ne qamisen pehen rakhi thin, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Wohb se puchha ki aye Abu Abd Allah kya tum ne tawaf ziyarat karliya hai, unhon ne arz kiya Ya Rasul Allah abhi to nahin, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya phir apni qamis utaro, chunancha un donon ne apne sar se khench kar qamis utar di, phir kehne lage Ya Rasul Allah is ki kya wajah hai? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya is din jab tum jamarat ki rami kar chuko to auraton ke ilawa har woh cheez jo tum par haram ki gayi thi halal hojati hai lekin agar sham tak tum tawaf ziyarat na karsako to tum isi tarah muhrim ban jate ho jaise rami jamarat se pehle the ta'ankih tum tawaf ziyarat karlo. Umm Qais kehti hain ki ek martaba Hazrat Ukkasha bin Usayd ke kuchh logon ke hamrah mere yahan se nikle unhon ne das Zee al-Hijjah ki sham ko qamisen pehen rakhi thin, phir raat ko woh mere pass wapas aye to unhon ne apni qamis apne hathon mein uthaye rakhi thin, maine Ukkasha se puchha ki aye Ukkasha jab tum yahan se gaye the to qamisen pehen rakhi thin aur jab wapas aye to hathon mein uthaye huye unhon ne bataya ki us din hamen yeh rukhsat di gayi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya is din jab tum jamarat ki rami kar chuko to auraton ke ilawa har woh cheez jo tum par haram ki gayi thi halal hojati hai lekin agar sham tak tum tawaf ziyarat na karsako to tum isi tarah muhrim ban jate ho jaise rami jamarat se pehle the ta'ankih tum tawaf ziyarat karlo hum ne kyunki tawaf nahin kiya tha is liye tum hamari qamisen is tarah dekh rahi ho.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَمْعَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، وَعَنْ أُمِّهِ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، يُحَدِّثَانِهِ ذَلِكَ جَمِيعًا عَنْهَا، قَالَتْ: كَانَتْ لَيْلَتِي الَّتِي يَصِيرُ إِلَيَّ فِيهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَسَاءَ يَوْمِ النَّحْرِ، قَالَتْ: فَصَارَ إِلَيَّ، قَالَتْ: فَدَخَلَ عَلَيَّ وَهْبُ بْنُ زَمْعَةَ وَمَعَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ آلِ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ مُتَقَمِّصَيْنِ , قَالَتْ: فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِوَهْبٍ:" هَلْ أَفَضْتَ بَعْدُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ؟" قَالَ: لَا , وَاللَّهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، قَالَ:" انْزِعْ عَنْكَ الْقَمِيصَ" , قَالَ: فَنَزَعَهُ مِنْ رَأْسِهِ، وَنَزَعَ صَاحِبُهُ قَمِيصَهُ مِنْ رَأْسِهِ، ثُمَّ قَالُوا: وَلِمَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ: " إِنَّ هَذَا يَوْمٌ رُخِّصَ لَكُمْ إِذَا أَنْتُمْ رَمَيْتُمْ الْجَمْرَةَ أَنْ تَحِلُّوا يَعْنِي مِنْ كُلِّ مَا حُرِمْتُمْ مِنْهُ إِلَّا مِنَ النِّسَاءِ إِذَا أَنْتُمْ أَمْسَيْتُمْ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَطُوفُوا بِهَذَا الْبَيْتِ، عُدْتُمْ حُرُمًا، كَهَيْئَتِكُمْ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَرْمُوا الْجَمْرَةَ حَتَّى تَطُوفُوا بِهِ" .
