Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26598
It is narrated by Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to pray two rak'ahs after the Zuhr prayer. Once, a delegation of Banu Tamim arrived, due to which the two rak'ahs that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to pray after Zuhr were missed. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) then prayed them after Asr.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ ظہر کی نماز کے بعد دو رکعتیں پڑھتے تھے، ایک مرتبہ بنوتمیم کا وفد آگیا تھا جس کی وجہ سے ظہر کے بعد کی جو دو رکعتیں نبی ﷺ پڑھتے تھے وہ رہ گئی تھیں اور انہیں نبی ﷺ نے عصر کے بعد پڑھ لیا تھا۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Zuhar ki namaz ke bad do rakatain parhte thay, ek martaba Banu Tamim ka wafad agaya tha jis ki wajah se Zuhar ke bad ki jo do rakatain Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) parhte thay woh reh gayi thin aur unhen Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Asr ke bad parh liya tha.
حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَتْ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ، وَإِنَّهُ جَاءَ وَفْدٌ، فَشَغَلُوهُ، فَلَمْ يُصَلِّهِمَا، فَصَلَّاهُمَا بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ" .
