Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26599
It is narrated by Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed away, besides the obligatory prayers, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to offer most of his prayers sitting down. The most beloved deed to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was the one that was done regularly, even if it was little.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کا جس وقت وصال ہوا تو فرائض کے علاوہ آپ ﷺ کی اکثر نمازیں بیٹھ کر ہوتی تھیں نبی ﷺ کے نزدیک سب سے پسندیدہ عمل وہ تھا جو ہمیشہ ہو اگرچہ تھوڑا ہو۔
Hazrat Umm Salma raziallahu anha se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka jis waqt wisal hua to faraiz ke ilawa aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki aksar namazen baith kar hoti thin Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke nazdeek sab se pasandida amal wo tha jo hamesha ho agarcha thora ho.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَتْ: " وَالَّذِي تَوَفَّى نَفْسَهُ تَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا تُوُفِّيَ حَتَّى كَانَتْ أَكْثَرُ صَلَاتِهِ قَاعِدًا إِلَّا الْمَكْتُوبَةَ، وَكَانَ أَعْجَبُ الْعَمَلِ إِلَيْهِ الَّذِي يَدُومُ عَلَيْهِ الْعَبْدُ، وَإِنْ كَانَ يَسِيرًا" .
