Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26601
Abd al-Rahman ibn Sabit said: "Once Hafsah bint Abd al-Rahman came to my house, and I said to her: 'I want to ask you something, but I'm ashamed to ask.' She said: 'Nephew, don't be shy.' I said: 'What is the ruling on men approaching their wives from behind?' She said: 'Umm Salamah told me that the men of the Ansar would not approach their wives from behind because the Jews used to say that whoever approaches his wife from behind, his offspring will be cross-eyed. When the Muhajireen came to Madinah, they married Ansar women and would approach them from behind. But one woman refused to allow her husband to do this, saying: 'I will not allow you to do this until I ask the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about it.' So the woman went to Umm Salamah and told her about it. Umm Salamah said: 'Sit down, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) will be here soon.' When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) arrived, the woman was too shy to ask him the question, so she went back. Later, Umm Salamah told the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about it, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'Call that Ansari woman!' So she was summoned, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recited this verse to her: 'Your wives are a tilth for you, so go to your tilth however you will.' And he said: ' (It is permissible) in the lower passage (whether the man comes from behind or from the front).'"

عبد الرحمن بن سابط کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میرے یہاں حفصہ بنت عبدالرحمن آئی ہوئی تھیں میں نے ان سے کہا میں آپ سے ایک سوال پوچھنا چاہتا ہوں لیکن پوچھتے ہوئے شرم آرہی ہے، انہوں نے کہا بھتیجے شرم نہ کرو میں نے کہا کہ عورتوں کے پاس پچھلے حصے میں آنے کا کیا حکم ہے، انہوں نے بتایا کہ مجھے حضرت ام سلمہ نے بتایا ہے کہ انصار کے مرد اپنی عورتوں کے پاس پچھلے حصے سے نہیں آتے تھے، کیونکہ یہودی کہا کرتے تھے کہ جو شخص اپنی بیوی کے پاس پچھلی جانب سے آتا ہے اس کی اولاد بھینگی ہوتی ہے، جب مہاجرین مدینہ منورہ آئے تو انہوں نے انصاری عورتوں سے بھی نکاح کیا اور پچھلی جانب سے ان کے پاس آتے، لیکن ایک عورت نے اس معاملے میں اپنے شوہر کی بات ماننے سے انکار کردیا اور کہنے لگی کہ جب تک میں نبی ﷺ سے اس کا حکم نہ پوچھ لوں اس وقت تک تم یہ کام نہیں کرسکتے۔ چنانچہ وہ عورت حضرت ام سلمہ کے پاس آئی اور ان سے اس کا ذکر کیا، حضرت ام سلمہ نے فرمایا کہ بیٹھ جاؤ، نبی ﷺ آتے ہی ہوں گے، جب نبی ﷺ تشریف لائے تو اس عورت کو یہ سوال پوچھتے ہوئے شرم آئی لہذا وہ یوں ہی واپس چلی گئی، بعد میں حضرت ام سلمہ نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ بات بتائی تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اس انصاریہ کو بلاؤ! چنانچہ اسے بلایا گیا اور نبی ﷺ نے اس کے سامنے یہ آیت تلاوت فرمائی " تمہاری بیویاں تمہاری کھیتیاں ہیں سو تم اپنے کھیت میں جس طرح آنا چاہو، آسکتے ہو " اور فرمایا کہ اگلے سوراخ میں ہو (خواہ مرد پیچھے سے آئے یا آگے سے)۔
Abdul Rahman bin Sabit kehte hain ke ek martaba mere yahan Hafsa bint Abdul Rahman aayi hui thin mein ne un se kaha mein aap se ek sawal puchna chahta hun lekin puchte hue sharm aa rahi hai, unhon ne kaha bhateeje sharm na karo mein ne kaha ke auraton ke paas pichle hisse mein aane ka kya hukum hai, unhon ne bataya ke mujhe Hazrat Umme Salma ne bataya hai ke Ansar ke mard apni auraton ke paas pichle hisse se nahi aate the, kyunki Yahudi kaha karte the ke jo shakhs apni biwi ke paas pichli jaanib se aata hai us ki aulad bhingi hoti hai, jab Muhajireen Madina Munawwara aaye to unhon ne Ansaria auraton se bhi nikah kiya aur pichli jaanib se un ke paas aate, lekin ek aurat ne is mamle mein apne shohar ki baat maan ne se inkar kar diya aur kehne lagi ke jab tak mein Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se is ka hukum na puch lun us waqt tak tum ye kaam nahi kar sakte. Chunanche wo aurat Hazrat Umme Salma ke paas aayi aur un se is ka zikar kiya, Hazrat Umme Salma ne farmaya ke baith jao, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) aate hi honge, jab Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) tashreef laaye to us aurat ko ye sawal puchte hue sharm aayi lihaza wo yun hi wapas chali gayi, baad mein Hazrat Umme Salma ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye baat batai to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya is Ansaria ko bulao! Chunanche use bulaya gaya aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne us ke samne ye aayat tilawat farmai " Tumhari biwiyan tumhari khetiyan hain so tum apne khet mein jis tarah aana chaho, aa sakte ho " aur farmaya ke agle suraakh mein ho (khah mard peeche se aaye ya aage se).
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَابِطٍ ، قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ عَلَى حَفْصَةَ ابْنَةِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، فَقُلْتُ: إِنِّي سَائِلُكِ عَنْ أَمْرٍ , وَأَنَا أَسْتَحْيِي أَنْ أَسْأَلَكِ عَنْهُ، فَقَالَتْ: لَا تَسْتَحْيِي يَا ابْنَ أَخِي، قَالَ: عَنْ إِتْيَانِ النِّسَاءِ فِي أَدْبَارِهِنَّ؟ قَالَتْ: حَدَّثَتْنِي أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ الْأَنْصَارَ كَانُوا لَا يُجِبُّونَ النِّسَاءَ، وَكَانَتْ الْيَهُودُ تَقُولُ: إِنَّهُ مَنْ جَبَّى امْرَأَتَهُ، كَانَ وَلَدُهُ أَحْوَلَ، فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ الْمُهَاجِرُونَ الْمَدِينَةَ، نَكَحُوا فِي نِسَاءِ الْأَنْصَارِ، فَجَبُّوهُنَّ، فَأَبَتْ امْرَأَةٌ أَنْ تُطِيعَ زَوْجَهَا، فَقَالَتْ لِزَوْجِهَا: لَنْ تَفْعَلَ ذَلِكَ حَتَّى آتِيَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَدَخَلَتْ عَلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، فَذَكَرَتْ ذَلِكَ لَهَا، فَقَالَتْ: اجْلِسِي حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَلَمَّا جَاءَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَحَتْ الْأَنْصَارِيَّةُ أَنْ تَسْأَلَهُ، فَخَرَجَتْ، فَحَدَّثَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: " ادْعِي الْأَنْصَارِيَّةَ"، فَدُعِيَتْ، فَتَلَا عَلَيْهَا هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ: نِسَاؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَكُمْ فَأْتُوا حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّى شِئْتُمْ سورة البقرة آية 223 صِمَامًا وَاحِدًا.
