Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26619
It is narrated by Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that when she came to Madinah Munawwarah, she told the people that she was the daughter of Abu Umayya ibn Mughirah, but the people did not believe her and started saying how big a lie this is. Then some people started leaving for Hajj, so she asked them, "Do you want to write something to your family?" She wrote a letter and sent it through them. When those people returned to Madinah, they started confirming Umm Salama's statement and her respect increased. She says that when Zainab was born to me, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to me and gave me a marriage proposal. I said, "Are women like me married?" I am old, I am very jealous, and I have children too." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "I am older than you in age, as for jealousy, Allah will remove it, and as for the children, they are the responsibility of Allah and His Messenger." So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) married her. After that, whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would come to her for privacy, she would grab her daughter Zainab and make her sit in her lap as soon as she saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and finally the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would just go back. Umar ibn Yasir, who was Umm Salama's foster brother, came to know about this, so he came to Umm Salama and said, "Where is this dirty girl through whom you are bothering the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)?" and took her with him. This time, when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) arrived and entered the house, he looked around in all four corners of the room and then asked about the girl, "Where did Zanab (Zainab) go?" She replied, " Umar came and took her with him." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) secluded himself with her and said, "If you want, I will spend seven days with you, but then I will spend seven days with each of my other wives."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ جب وہ مدینہ منورہ آئیں تو انہوں نے لوگوں کو بتایا کہ وہ ابوامیہ بن مغیرہ کی بیٹی ہیں لیکن لوگوں نے ان کی بات تسلیم نہ کی اور کہنے لگے کہ یہ کتنا بڑا جھوٹ ہے پھر کچھ لوگ حج کے لئے روانہ ہونے لگے تو ان سے کہا کہ تم اپنے گھر والوں کو کچھ لکھنا چاہتی ہو؟ انہوں نے ایک خط لکھ کر ان کے ذریعے بھجوادیا وہ لوگ جب مدینہ واپس آئے تو حضرت ام سلمہ کی تصدیق کرنے لگے اور ان کی عزت میں اضافہ ہوگیا وہ کہتی ہیں کہ جب میرے یہاں زینب پیدا ہوچکی تو نبی ﷺ میرے یہاں آئے اور مجھے پیغام نکاح دیا، میں نے عرض کیا کہ میری جیسی عورتوں سے نکاح کیا جاتا ہے؟ میری عمر زیادہ ہوگئی ہے میں غیور بہت ہوں اور صاحب عیال بھی ہوں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا میں تم سے عمر میں بڑا ہوں رہی غیرت تو اللہ اسے دور کردے گا اور رہے بچے تو وہ اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی ذمہ داری میں ہیں چنانچہ نبی ﷺ نے ان سے نکاح کرلیا۔ اس کے بعد نبی ﷺ جب بھی ان کے پاس خلوت کے لئے آتے تو وہ نبی ﷺ کو دیکھتے ہی اپنی بیٹی زینب کو پکڑ کر اسے اپنی گود میں بٹھالیتی تھیں اور بالآخر نبی ﷺ یوں ہی واپس چلے جاتے تھے، حضرت عماربن یاسر جو کہ حضرت ام سلمہ کے رضاعی بھائی تھے، کو یہ بات معلوم ہوئی تو وہ حضرت ام سلمہ کے پاس آئے اور ان سے کہا کہ یہ گندی بچی کہاں ہے جس کے ذریعے تم نے نبی ﷺ کو ایذاء دے رکھی ہے اور اسے پکڑ کر اپنے ساتھ لے گئے۔ اس مرتبہ نبی ﷺ تشریف لائے اور گھر میں داخل ہوئے تو اس کمرے کے چاروں کونوں میں نظریں دوڑا کر دیکھنے لگے پھر بچی کے متعلق پوچھا کہ زناب (زینب) کہاں گئی؟ انہوں نے بتایا کہ حضرت عمار آئے تھے وہ اسے اپنے ساتھ لے گئے ہیں، پھر نبی ﷺ نے ان کے ساتھ خلوت کی اور فرمایا اگر تم چاہو تو میں تمہارے پاس سات دن گزارتا ہوں لیکن پھر اپنی دوسری بیویوں میں سے ہر ایک کے پاس بھی سات سات دن گزاروں گا۔
Hazrat Umm e Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai keh jab wo Madina Munawara aae to unhon ne logon ko bataya keh wo Abu Umayya bin Mugheera ki beti hain lekin logon ne unki baat tasleem na ki aur kehne lage keh ye kitna bada jhoot hai phir kuch log Hajj ke liye rawana hone lage to unse kaha keh tum apne ghar walon ko kuch likhna chahti ho? Unhon ne ek khat likh kar unke zariye bhejwa diya wo log jab Madina wapas aae to Hazrat Umm e Salma ki tasdeeq karne lage aur unki izzat mein izafa hogaya wo kehti hain keh jab mere yahan Zainab paida ho chuki to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mere yahan aae aur mujhe paigham nikah diya, maine arz kiya keh meri jaisi auraton se nikah kiya jata hai? Meri umar zyada hogayi hai main ghairu bohat hun aur sahib e ayal bhi hun Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya main tumse umar mein bada hun rahi ghairat to Allah use door kardega aur rahe bache to wo Allah aur uske Rasool ki zimmedari mein hain chunanche Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unse nikah kar liya. Iske baad Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab bhi unke paas khalwat ke liye aate to wo Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko dekhte hi apni beti Zainab ko pakad kar use apni god mein bitha leti thin aur balkhair Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) yun hi wapas chale jate the, Hazrat Umar bin Yasir jo keh Hazrat Umm e Salma ke razaai bhai the, ko ye baat maloom hui to wo Hazrat Umm e Salma ke paas aae aur unse kaha keh ye gandi bachi kahan hai jiske zariye tumne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ezaa de rakhi hai aur use pakad kar apne sath le gaye. Is martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) tashreef laae aur ghar mein dakhil hue to uss kamre ke chaaron konon mein nazrein daura kar dekhne lage phir bachi ke mutalliq poocha keh zanab (Zainab) kahan gayi? Unhon ne bataya keh Hazrat Umar aae the wo use apne sath le gaye hain, phir Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unke sath khalwat ki aur farmaya agar tum chaho to main tumhare paas saat din guzarta hun lekin phir apni dusri biwiyon mein se har ek ke paas bhi saat saat din guzarunga.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي إِيّاَيِ حَبِيبُ بْنُ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ الْحَمِيدِ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو , وَالْقَاسِمَ أَخْبَرَاهُ , أَنَّهُمَا سَمِعَا أَبَا بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ يُخْبِرُ , أَنَّ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ , أَنَّها لَمَّا قَدِمَتْ الْمَدِينَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُمْ أَنَّهَا ابْنَةُ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ، فَكَذَّبُوهَا، وَيَقُولُونَ: مَا أَكْذَبَ الْغَرَائِبَ، حَتَّى أَنْشَأَ نَاسٌ مِنْهُمْ إِلَى الْحَجِّ، فَقَالُوا: مَا تَكْتُبِينَ إِلَى أَهْلِكِ؟ فَكَتَبَتْ مَعَهُمْ، فَرَجَعُوا إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ يُصَدِّقُونَهَا، فَازْدَادَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ كَرَامَةً , قَالَتْ: فَلَمَّا وَضَعْتُ زَيْنَبَ، جَاءَنِي النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَخَطَبَنِي، فَقُلْتُ: مَا مِثْلِي نُكِحَ، أَمَّا أَنَا، فَلَا وَلَدَ فِيَّ، وَأَنَا غَيُورٌ، وَذَاتُ عِيَالٍ، فَقَالَ:" أَنَا أَكْبَرُ مِنْكِ، وَأَمَّا الْغَيْرَةُ، فَيُذْهِبُهَا اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، وَأَمَّا الْعِيَالُ، فَإِلَى اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ" , فَتَزَوَّجَهَا، فَجَعَلَ يَأْتِيهَا فَيَقُولُ:" أَيْنَ زُنَابُ؟" حَتَّى جَاءَ عَمَّارُ بْنُ يَاسِرٍ يَوْمًا، فَاخْتَلَجَهَا، وَقَالَ: هَذِهِ تَمْنَعُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَكَانَتْ تُرْضِعُهَا، فَجَاءَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ:" أَيْنَ زُنَابُ؟" , فَقَالَتْ: قَرِيبَةُ ابْنَةِ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ وَوَافَقَهَا عِنْدَهَا أَخَذَهَا عَمَّارُ بْنُ يَاسِرٍ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِنِّي آتِيكُمْ اللَّيْلَةَ" , قَالَتْ: فَقُمْتُ، فَأَخْرَجْتُ حَبَّاتٍ مِنْ شَعِيرٍ كَانَتْ فِي جَرٍّ، وَأَخْرَجْتُ شَحْمًا فَعَصَدْتُهُ لَهُ. قَالَتْ: فَبَاتَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ أَصْبَحَ، فَقَالَ حِينَ أَصْبَحَ: " إِنَّ لَكِ عَلَى أَهْلِكِ كَرَامَةً، فَإِنْ شِئْتِ سَبَّعْتُ لَكِ، فَإِنْ أُسَبِّعْ لَكِ، أُسَبِّعْ لِنِسَائِي" .
