Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26639
Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that she asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "O Messenger of Allah! Shall we mix a little antimony with musk?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Why don't you mix it with silver, then mix it with saffron, so that the silver will become like gold."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ انہوں نے نبی ﷺ سے پوچھا یا رسول اللہ! کیا ہم تھوڑا ساسونا لے کر اس میں مشک نہ ملا لیا کریں؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا تم اسے چاندی کے ساتھ کیوں نہیں ملاتیں، پھر اسے زعفران کے ساتھ خلط ملط کرلیا کرو، جس سے وہ چاندی بھی سونے کی طرح ہو جائیگی۔
Hazrat Umm Salmah raziallahu anha se marvi hai keh unhon ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se poocha Ya Rasulullah! kya hum thoda sasona lekar usme mushk na mila liya karein? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya tum usey chandi ke saath kyun nahi milatein, phir usey zaafran ke saath khalt malt kar liya karo, jis se woh chandi bhi sone ki tarah ho jayegi.
حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الرَّقِّيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا خُصَيْفٌ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهَا سَأَلَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الذَّهَبِ يُرْبَطُ بِهِ أَوْ يُرْبَطُ بِهِ الْمِسْكُ , قَالَ: " اجْعَلِيهِ فِضَّةً وَصَفِّرِيهِ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ زَعْفَرَانٍ" .
