Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26722
It is narrated on the authority of Umme Salma (may Allah be pleased with her) that when her waiting period after the death of Abu Salma (may Allah be pleased with him) was over, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent her a marriage proposal. She said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have three qualities: I am old in age." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "I am older than you." She said, "I am a jealous woman." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "I will pray to Allah to remove your jealousy." She said, "I also have children." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "They are the responsibility of Allah and His Messenger." So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) married her. Then whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would come to her for seclusion, she would grab her daughter Zainab and make her sit in her lap upon seeing him, and eventually, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would return as he came. When Ammar bin Yasir (may Allah be pleased with him), the foster brother of Umme Salma (may Allah be pleased with her), found out about this, he came to Umme Salma (may Allah be pleased with her) and said, "Where is that filthy girl by whom you are harming the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)?" and took her with him. This time when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) arrived and entered the house, he looked around in all four corners of the room and then asked about the girl, "Where is Zainab?" She replied, " Ammar came and took her with him." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) secluded himself with her and said, "If you wish, I will spend seven days with you, but then I will also spend seven days with each of my other wives." She said, "No, you decide the turn."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ابوسلمہ کی وفات اور ان کی عدت گزرنے کے بعد نبی ﷺ نے انہیں پیغام نکاح بھیجا انہوں نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! مجھ میں تین خصلتیں ہیں، میں عمر میں بڑی ہوں، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا میں تم سے بھی بڑا ہوں انہوں نے کہا کہ میں غیور عورت ہوں، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا میں اللہ سے دعا کردوں گا وہ تمہاری غیرت دور کردے گا، انہوں نے کہا میرے بچے بھی ہیں، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ وہ اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی ذمہ داری میں ہیں، چنانچہ نبی ﷺ نے ان سے نکاح فرمالیا۔ پھر نبی ﷺ جب بھی ان کے پاس خلوت کے لئے آتے تو وہ نبی ﷺ کو دیکھتے ہی اپنی بیٹی زینب کو پکڑ کر اسے اپنی گود میں بٹھالیتی تھیں اور بالآخر نبی ﷺ یوں ہی واپس چلے جاتے تھے، حضرت عماربن یاسر جو کہ حضرت ام سلمہ کے رضاعی بھائی تھے، کو یہ بات معلوم ہوئی تو وہ حضرت ام سلمہ کے پاس آئے اور ان سے کہا یہ گندی بچی کہاں ہے جس کے ذریعے تم نے نبی ﷺ کو ایذاء دے رکھی ہے اور اسے پکڑ کر اپنے ساتھ لے گئے۔ اس مرتبہ نبی ﷺ تشریف لائے اور گھر میں داخل ہوئے تو اس کمرے کے چاروں کونوں میں نظریں دوڑا کر دیکھنے لگے پھر بچی کے متعلق پوچھا کہ زناب (زینب) کہاں گئی؟ انہوں نے بتایا کہ حضرت عمار آئے تھے وہ اسے اپنے ساتھ لے گئے ہیں، پھر نبی ﷺ نے ان کے ساتھ خلوت کی اور فرمایا اگر تم چاہو تو میں تمہارے پاس سات دن گزارتا ہوں لیکن پھر اپنی دوسری بیویوں میں سے ہر ایک کے پاس بھی سات سات دن گزاروں گا۔ انہوں نے عرض کیا نہیں آپ باری مقرر کرلیجئے۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Abusalma ki wafat aur un ki iddat guzarne ke baad Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unhen paigham nikah bheja unhon ne arz kiya Ya Rasul Allah mujh mein teen khaslain hain main umar mein badi hun Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya main tum se bhi bada hun unhon ne kaha ki main ghair aurat hun Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya main Allah se dua karunga woh tumhari ghairat dur kar dega unhon ne kaha mere bacche bhi hain Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki woh Allah aur uske Rasul ki zimmedari mein hain chunanche Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unse nikah farmaliya phir Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab bhi unke paas khalwat ke liye aate to woh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko dekhte hi apni beti Zainab ko pakad kar use apni god mein bithalati thin aur balakhir Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) yun hi wapas chale jate the Hazrat Ammar bin Yasir jo ki Hazrat Umm Salma ke rizayi bhai the ko yeh baat maloom hui to woh Hazrat Umm Salma ke paas aaye aur unse kaha yeh gandi bacchi kahan hai jiske zariye tumne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ezaa de rakhi hai aur use pakad kar apne sath le gaye is martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) tashrif laaye aur ghar mein dakhil hue to us kamre ke chaaron konon mein nazrein daura kar dekhne lage phir bacchi ke mutalliq pucha ki Zanab Zainab kahan gai unhon ne bataya ki Hazrat Ammar aaye the woh use apne sath le gaye hain phir Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unke sath khalwat ki aur farmaya agar tum chaho to main tumhare paas saat din guzarta hun lekin phir apni dusri biwiyon mein se har ek ke paas bhi saat saat din guzarunga unhon ne arz kiya nahin aap bari muqarar kar lijiye.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي الصُّفَيْرَا ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ ابْنُ بِنْتِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، أَنَّ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ لَمَّا تُوُفِّيَ عَنْهَا، وَانْقَضَتْ عِدَّتُهَا، خَطَبَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنَّ فِيَّ ثَلَاثَ خِصَالٍ: أَنَا امْرَأَةٌ كَبِيرَةٌ , فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" أَنَا أَكْبَرُ مِنْكِ" , قَالَتْ: وَأَنَا امْرَأَةٌ غَيُورٌ , قَالَ:" أَدْعُو اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، فَيُذْهِبُ غَيْرَتَكِ" , قَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ , وَإِنِّي امْرَأَةٌ مُصْبِيَةٌ , قَالَ:" هُمْ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ" , قَالَ: فَتَزَوَّجَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ: فَأَتَاهَا، فَوَجَدَهَا تُرْضِعُ، فَانْصَرَفَ، ثُمَّ أَتَاهَا، فَوَجَدَهَا تُرْضِعُ، فَانْصَرَفَ، قَالَ: فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ عَمَّارَ بْنَ يَاسِرٍ، فَأَتَاهَا، فَقَالَ: حُلْتِ بَيْنَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَبَيْنَ حَاجَتِهِ، هَلُمَّ الصَّبِيَّةَ، قَالَ: فَأَخَذَهَا، فَاسْتَرْضَعَ لَهَا، فَأَتَاهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ:" أَيْنَ زُنَابُ؟" يَعْنِي زَيْنَبَ , قَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَخَذَهَا عَمَّارٌ , فَدَخَلَ بِهَا، فَقَالَ:" إِنَّ بِكِ عَلَى أَهْلِكِ كَرَامَةً" , قَالَ: فَأَقَامَ عِنْدَهَا إِلَى الْعَشِيِّ، ثُمَّ قَالَ:" إِنْ شِئْتِ سَبَّعْتُ لَكِ، وَإِنْ سَبَّعْتُ لَكِ، سَبَّعْتُ لِسَائِرِ نِسَائِي، وَإِنْ شِئْتِ، قَسَمْتُ لَكِ" , قَالَتْ: لَا، بَلْ اقْسِمْ لِي .
