Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26739
It is narrated on the authority of Umme Salma (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When you visit a person who is dying or sick, then pray for his well-being, because the angels say 'Amen' to your prayer."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا جب تم کسی قریب المرگ یا بیمار آدمی کے پاس جایا کرو تو اس کے حق میں دعائے خیر کیا کرو کیونکہ ملائکہ تمہاری دعاء پر آمین کہتے ہیں۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya jab tum kisi qareeb ul marg ya bimar aadmi ke pass jaya karo to uske haq mein duae khair kiya karo kyunki malaika tumhari dua par ameen kehte hain.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا حَضَرْتُمْ الْمَيِّتَ أَوْ الْمَرِيضَ فَقُولُوا خَيْرًا، فَإِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ يُؤَمِّنُونَ عَلَى مَا تَقُولُونَ" .
