Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 27606
It is narrated on the authority of Asma (RA) that I heard the Prophet (PBUH) reciting this verse like this: «إِنَّهُ عَمِلَ غَيْرَ صَالِحٍ» (Indeed, it was an unrighteous act) and heard him reciting this verse like this: «يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ لا تَقْنَطُوا مِنْ رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا [سورة الزمر آية 53] وَلَا يُبَالِي، إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ» (Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah . Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.")

حضرت اسماء رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ آیت اس طرح پڑھتے ہوئے سنا ہے: «إِنَّهُ عَمِلَ غَيْرَ صَالِحٍ» اور اس آیت کو اس طرح پڑھتے ہوئے سنا ہے: «يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ لا تَقْنَطُوا مِنْ رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا [سورة الزمر آية 53] وَلَا يُبَالِي، إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ» ۔
Hazrat Asma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ke maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye ayat is tarah parhte huye suna hai: «Innahu Amilun Ghairu Saalih» aur is ayat ko is tarah parhte huye suna hai: «Ya Ibaadiyal Ladhina Asrafoo Ala Anfushim La Taqnatoo Min Rahmatillahi Innallaha Yaghfirudh Dhanooba Jami'an [Suraah Az-Zumar Aayat 53] Wala Yubaali, Innahu Huwal Ghafoorur Raheem» .
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ ، أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" يَقْرَأُ: إِنَّهُ عَمِلَ غَيْرَ صَالِحٍ"، وَسَمِعَتْهُ يَقْرَأُ: " يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ لا تَقْنَطُوا مِنْ رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا سورة الزمر آية 53"،" وَلَا يُبَالِي، إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ" .
