The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2804
It is narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once he and a slave of Banu Abdul Muttalib were riding a donkey. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was leading the people in prayer. When we approached the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) from the front, we dismounted, left the donkey, and joined the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in prayer. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not break his prayer. Similarly, once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was leading the people in prayer when two girls from Banu Abdul Muttalib came running and clung to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not break his prayer. Also, once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was praying in the mosque when a baby goat came out of one of the Prophet’s (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) rooms and started to pass in front of him. He did not break his prayer.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں اور بنو عبدالمطلب کا ایک غلام ایک گدھے پر سوار ہو کر آئے، نبی ﷺ لوگوں کو نماز پڑھا رہے تھے، جب ہم سامنے کے رخ سے نبی ﷺ کے قریب ہوئے تو ہم اس سے اتر پڑے اور اسے چھوڑ کر خود نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ نماز میں شریک ہو گئے، نبی ﷺ نے اپنی نماز کو نہیں توڑا۔ اسی طرح ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ لوگوں کو نماز پڑھا رہے تھے کہ بنو عبدالمطلب کی دو بچیاں دوڑتی ہوئی آئیں اور نبی ﷺ سے چمٹ گئیں، نبی ﷺ نے اپنی نماز کو نہیں توڑا، نیز ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ مسجد میں نماز پڑھ رہے تھے کہ ایک بکری کا بچہ نبی ﷺ کے کسی حجرے سے نکلا اور نبی ﷺ کے آگے سے گزرنے لگا، تو انہوں نے نماز نہیں توڑی۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba mein aur Banu Abd al-Muttalib ka ek ghulam ek gadhe par sawar ho kar aaye, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) logon ko namaz padha rahe the, jab hum samne ke rukh se Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke qareeb huye to hum us se utar pade aur use chhod kar khud Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath namaz mein sharik ho gaye, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apni namaz ko nahin toda. Isi tarah ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) logon ko namaz padha rahe the ki Banu Abd al-Muttalib ki do bachiyan daurti hui aayin aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se chimat gayin, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apni namaz ko nahin toda, neez ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) masjid mein namaz padh rahe the ki ek bakri ka bachcha Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke kisi hujre se nikla aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke aage se guzarne laga, to unhon ne namaz nahin todi.
حَدَّثَنَا الْأَشْجَعِيُّ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ الْعُرَنِيِّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ:" جِئْتُ أَنَا وَغُلَامٌ مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ عَلَى حِمَارٍ، وَالنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ، قَالَ: فَأَرْخَيْنَاهُ بَيْنَ أَيْدِينَا يَرْعَى، فَلَمْ يَقْطَعْ. قَالَ: وَجَاءَتْ جَارِيَتَانِ مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ تَسْتَبِقَانِ، فَفَرَعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَهُمَا، فَلَمْ يَقْطَعْ، وَسَقَطَ جَدْيٌ، فَلَمْ يَقْطَعْ".
