The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2805
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that one of the respected wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) took a bath after sexual intercourse. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed ablution or took a bath with the remaining water. When that wife asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about it, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Nothing makes water impure."

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کی کسی زوجہ محترمہ نے غسل جنابت فرمایا اور نبی ﷺ نے ان کے بچے ہوئے پانی سے غسل یا وضو فرما لیا، ان زوجہ نے نبی ﷺ سے اس کے متعلق پوچھا تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ ”پانی کو کوئی چیز ناپاک نہیں کرتی۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki kisi zojain muhtarima ne ghusl janabat farmaya aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne un ke bachey huey pani se ghusl ya wuzu farma liya, un zojain ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se us ke mutalliq poocha to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki "pani ko koi cheez napaak nahi karti".
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً مِنْ نِسَاءِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَحَمَّتْ مِنْ جَنَابَةٍ، فَجَاءَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْتَحِمُّ مِنْ فَضْلِهَا، فَقَالَتْ: إِنِّي اغْتَسَلْتُ مِنْهُ. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِنَّ الْمَاءَ لَا يُنَجِّسُهُ شَيْءٌ".
