ومن مسند بني هاشم
The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَا

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2900
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the name of Sayyida Juwayriyah (may Allah be pleased with her) was "Barrah". The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) changed her name to Juwayriyah.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ سیدہ جویریہ رضی اللہ عنہا کا نام ”برہ“ تھا، نبی ﷺ نے ان کا نام بدل کر جویریہ رکھ دیا۔
Syedna Ibn Abbas Raziallahu Anhuma se marvi hai ke Syeda Juwairiya Raziallahu Anha ka naam "Barrah" tha, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne un ka naam badal kar Juwairiya rakh diya.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مَوْلَى آلِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ " كَانَ اسْمُ جُوَيْرِيَةَ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَرَّةَ، فَحَوَّلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْمَهَا، فَسَمَّاهَا جُوَيْرِيَةَ".
