The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2952
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Seventy thousand people of my Ummah will enter Paradise without being called to account." I asked: "Who are they?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "They are those who do not treat themselves with branding, nor do they use spells or charms, nor are they superstitious, and they put their trust in their Lord."

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”میری امت میں ستر ہزار آدمی ایسے ہیں جو بغیر حساب کے جنت میں داخل ہوں گے“، میں نے پوچھا کہ یہ کون لوگ ہوں گے؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”یہ وہ لوگ ہوں گے جو داغ کر علاج نہیں کرتے، جھاڑ پھونک اور منتر نہیں کرتے، بدشگونی نہیں لیتے اور اپنے رب پر بھروسہ کرتے ہیں۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas Raziallahu Anhuma se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: “Meri ummat mein sattar hazaar aadmi aise hain jo baghair hisab ke jannat mein dakhil honge”, maine poocha ki yeh kaun log honge? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: “Yeh woh log honge jo daag kar ilaj nahi karte, jhaar phoonk aur mantr nahi karte, badshaguni nahi lete aur apne Rab par bharosa karte hain”.
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ حُصَيْنًا ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ عِنْدَ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، فَقَالَ: عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ:" يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي سَبْعُونَ أَلْفًا بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ"، فَقُلْتُ: مَنْ هُمْ؟ قَالَ:" هُمْ الَّذِينَ لَا يَسْتَرْقُونَ، وَلَا يَتَطَيَّرُونَ، وَلَا يَعْتَافُونَ، وَعَلَى رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ".
