ومن مسند بني هاشم
The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَا
Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2987
Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) said that the verse: "You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind..." (Al-Imran, 3:110) refers to those who migrated with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to Madinah.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ «﴿كُنْتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ . . . . .﴾ [آل عمران: 110] » ”تم سب سے بہتر امت چلے آئے ہو، جو لوگوں کے لیے نکالی گئی . . . . .“ والی آیت کا مصداق وہ لوگ ہیں جنہوں نے نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ مدینہ منورہ کی طرف ہجرت کی تھی۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a farmate hain keh «﴿kuntum khaira ummatin ukhrijat lil nnasi . . . . .﴾ [aal Imran: 110] » ”tum sab se behtar ummat chale aaye ho, jo logon ke liye nikali gayi . . . . .“ wali ayat ka misdaq wo log hain jinhone Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath Madinah Munawwara ki taraf hijrat ki thi.
رقم الحديث: 2868 (حديث موقوف) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: كُنْتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ سورة آل عمران آية 110، قَالَ:" أَصْحَابُ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الَّذِينَ هَاجَرُوا مَعَهُ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ".
