The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3019
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent a messenger to Abu Tayyib in the evening. He came and embraced the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave him his wages.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ابوطیبہ کے پاس شام کے وقت بیغام بھیجا، اس نے آ کر نبی ﷺ کو سینگی لگائی، اور نبی ﷺ نے اسے اس کی مزدوری دی۔
Saina Ibne Abbas Raziallahu Anhuma se marvi hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Abu Tuba ke pas sham ke waqt beigam bheja, usne aa kar Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko saingi lagai, aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne use uski mazdoori di.
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ،" أَن رسول الله صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَ إِلى أَبى طَيْبَة عِشاءً فحَجَمَهُ، وأعطاهُ أَجْرَهُ".
