The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3066
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the killing of four kinds of animals: “Ant, honey bee, hoopoe and sparrow hawk.”

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے چار قسم کے جانوروں کو مارنے سے منع فرمایا ہے: ”چیونٹی، شہد کی مکھی، ہدہد اور لٹورا۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne chaar qisam ke jaanwaron ko maarne se mana farmaya hai: "Cheonti, shehad ki makhi, hudhud aur latoda."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ:" نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ قَتْلِ أَرْبَعٍ مِنَ الدَّوَابِّ النَّمْلَةِ، وَالنَّحْلَةِ، وَالْهُدْهُدِ، وَالصُّرَدِ".
